It’s My Happiest Time Of Year!!

Halloween is by far one of my FAVORITE times of the year.  I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!! So much so that even with NO kids at home. Living on a remote mountain top, with very little company (can I call the UPS driver company? I mean he is here A LOT! The HUSBAND has a shopping problem. Haaaa I made a funny!)

As I was saying. I LOVE HALLOWEEN. No company, no kids, not a single trick-or-treater EVER, but I still take the time to decorate for Halloween.

I drag all the decorations out. I start sorting…….. and start to put them out and… is that dust? Is that grime? AND seriously, WHAT is THAT!??! So, now have decorations scattered all over …… but I get the case of the ‘SQUIRELL!’ (If you don’t get that I suggest you stop here and go watch the movie UP)

Clean First

Now we are at a WEEK of deep cleaning of the house. You know… all the while stepping over decorations, finding more dirty areas. DANG we are messy people! (Ohhhhh!!! I just realized it’s not all ghosts, ghouls, eyeballs and skeletons. (okay, it is ABOUT all that!) but, a good deep cleaning is just a good idea. I mean hello, y’all don’t want my Halloween decorations to be beautifully displayed on top of a layer of dust do ya??

EVEN the towels

While I was a cleaning fool I put out my new bathroom towels. (Am I the ONLY one that gets excited about new towels??) I’m TOTALLY in love with this ever so light green bath towels. SO SOFT!! Wash after wash!! (OHHHHH!!! I have a public service announcement. Did you know you should never put fabric softener in the wash with your towels?? It keeps them from being as absorbent as they can be.  Personally, I use the wool dryer balls and my towels are always super soft!!)

Back to my new Delilah Home Organic Towels. Remember when I told you about our new Furnace filters earlier this month in my post about Fall Allergies??
