Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Mind Blown All True & New #giveaway
Okay, SERIOUSLY how does Ripley’s Believe It or Not! FIND THESE STORIES?!?! REALLY, I need to know how is it possible that Ripley’s packs a new book every year with such amazing stories?
Just like last year and the year before and the year before Ripley’s Believe it Or Not is back with the newest book in its bestselling series. This one is called Mind Blown All True & New.
Let me tell ya… Ripley’s DOES NOT LIE! They also don’t exaggerate.
Once again stunning photos and shocking stories. And true to Ripley’s brand, the more than 1,200 stories are all new and ALL TRUE!
This is a coffee table book for the entire family!! Seriously FUN!! Seriously BIZARRE!!!! And ALL true?!?! You will be amazed. You will find yourself saying WHAT?! over and over again!!!
Believe it Or Not Mind Blown has stories about animals, people and even intricate carvings on BANANAS!
Starting with the cover its almost a 3D print. It’s so pretty with its gradient hot pink to deep blue swirling design. The cover alone will have you picking the book up over and over!!
Seriously, having this book sitting on the coffee table it’s irresistible to guests. They HAVE to pick up the book. It’s like the book calls to them. Just like each and every book in the Ripley’s Believe it Or Not series. That eyeball one is still a favorite.
The 2020 edition has 1,200 new stories! HOW do the Ripley people find these stories?!?! AND can I get a job?? What a fascinating and exciting and kinda gross job would that be?!?! Can you imagine getting to sift through all the stories to pick out the best (or worst, or grossest)
Here are some truly amazing and ahhhhing pictures that truly stood out for me.
How about a Christmas tree made of tumbleweeds? Yup, Chandler Arizona built a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree made out of approximately 1000 tumbleweeds.
What about a BUG BLIZZARD!?!? EWWWW yes, that one gave me an all over body shudder. August 2019 took this picture in Navarre Spain, yes it looks like snowflakes but nooooooo… instead its MAYFLIES! They make a frantic rush to mate and then lay eggs in the River Ebro before dying. Now, I don’t know about you, but I am staying inside! I don’t need a picture that bad!! (Yes. Me the girl that takes pictures of bears from the deck, but bugs? No! Give me ONE big ole bear over millions of bugs all at once!)
Sculptures. Not just any sculpture. Ones carved on a BANANA!! BTW did you know that there are more than 1000 different types of bananas? Yup. You’re welcome for that little conversation starter.
Y’all know that when I review a Ripley’s book I have to (REALLY HAVE TO!) share one of the grossest stories or pictures… mostly cause misery and all that.
Hahaha this one made me do a triple take. It’s a CAKE!! Wanna come over? I’ll make coffee.
This book would make an amazing gift for anyone on your Christmas list. It’s addicting!! You can’t read just one page. You’ll find yourself flipping thru page after page in wonder and amazement.
Here are a few more honorable mentions.
Thanks to the generous folks over at Ripley’s I get to host a GIVEAWAY!!!
Good Luck Little Peanuts.

I was reading their weird facts about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!! Here is one of them – The coldest-ever parade was held in 2018 at a frigid 19 degrees Fahrenheit.

I didn’t realize that Ripley’s had an aquarium I think that’s a really cool feature along with all their interactive galleries and all that stuff it really looks like a fun place maybe once this pandemic is over I could take my kids to visit

I learned about the Cherry Sisters Vaudeville Act and how awful they were. But they won a libel suit and changed media law forever. I hope I win. My husband would LOVE this book. Thank you.

Ripley’s has grown to be a world leader in family entertainment. Beyond the world of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and Ripley’s Aquariums, Ripley’s also invites guests to strike a pose at Louis Tussaud’s WaxWorks, hang on tight at Ripley’s Moving Theaters, get lost in Ripley’s Mirror Mazes, and much more.
