The idea behind the SHMILY coins is, basically, hiding the coin somewhere that your loved one will find it. When the coin is discovered they will know you’ve been thinking about them. They in turn hide the coin for you to find.  Hopefully, a tradition that will last for years!  I’m positive it will in our house.

I’m so excited to pass this ‘game’ along to my grandkids!  I love the idea of the kids being surprised finding the coin hidden somewhere that they will come across them in their day.  I love the idea that I can hide them in their toys here for them to find it. I can’t WAIT to see where they hide the coin in turn!!
