Veggie Tales!! Bob and Larry’s ABCs

I am truly blessed with a wide range of products to review. This one tops the list this month!! The flu hit my family hard!! AND in 3 different households!! I swear, I’m beginning to think that this cough is never going away!!  First hit was Alice, she was so sick, she was miserable she wanted to just snuggle and watch movies. The next week I was sick and didn’t want to move, so we played a lot of games on the iPad and watched a lot of Disney movies!

That’s where today’s review comes in. Veggie Tales “Bob and Larry’s ABC” app. First, Alice is really good with her letters, knows them by site, upper case, lower case and now we are working on word association what does A stand for? And so on. This is the perfect app for that!! FUN, bright colorful and of course it’s Veggie Tales!! You can’t go wrong with Veggie Tales apps and or movies!! This one is really engaging!! Alice can have the story read to her by Bob and Larry. Eventually, Alice will be able to read it to herself.

As usual, downloading from iTunes is super easy and fast. Alice immediately knew what to do because of the large colorful arrows. The app started right up with the story. The app has bright and colorful illustrations and a fun story. Alice is thoroughly engaged and learning!!! Alice has played this so many times now that she ‘reads’ the story along with Bob and Larry, then just GRINS ear to ear!! We work together in the create mode, we walk around the house and point out things that start with each letter.  Alice is two and get’s bored with that mode fairly quickly, but the we do a few more everyday.  This app is perfect for kids ages 2-7 to use to learn their letters with their friends Bob and Larry.
