Young Living Seed to Seal!!

Coffee. My life blood. So much so, that my 6 and 10 year old daughters know how to make it for me. They like watching the crispy white  filter with fresh coffee grounds blooming and the steam that rises above it. I can very honestly say that it is one of my favorite times of the day, like.. I go to bed knowing that my self allotted coffee credits will be reset once I open my eyes…
Now imagine, hurrying out of the house to go on about your day and coming home to a soggy brown coffee filter, cold grounds, and that coffee ring around the pot that screams “past my prime!!!” Now let me ask, would you pour fresh to water over those grounds? Negative, that is so gross. The coffee would be sub par, weak, a second distillation. But it would still be called coffee, right? Wrong., at least in my book.
That analogy is the same for essential oils. They are not all created equal. And Young Living is different,  They live by their seed to seal process.  They set the industry standard for purity and authenticity.  They monitor the production of oils from beginning to end. This painstaking process guarantees that each plant travels through these steps before it ends up in your home. And that it is the very best there is .  They call it Seed to seal. And that promise is how they operate, every single day.
Seed-  Powerful Essential oils come from seeds. Young Living works with their own experts as well as University experts to verify the potential and potency in each seed before it is planted.
Cultivate- Young Living has its own farms, and partner farms. That in itself is what sets them apart from the rest.   They are located ALL over the world. Guys, you can go to one of their farms!  I have been there, and it is AMAZING. Like Disneyland for a crunchy hippy like me.  Having our own farms means that their can be the greatest care in perfecting the growing and harvesting methods.  Partner farms must also adhere to the standards set forth by Young Living.  It means that you get what you pay for. Pure Oils. Every single time.
Distill-  Combining Ancient techniques as well as the most advanced current technologies and machines, the oils are extracted with the utmost respect. But it also means that they don’t cut corners. Ever. Did you know that it is standard practice for many companies to use synthetic solvents to extract more oils and higher temperatures that degrade the efficacy of the oils?  Gross.
Test– Young Living never accepts diluted, cut, or adulterer oils. What you get is 100 percent pure. They also use their extensive in house testing machines (the most extensive  in the world, actually) as well as third party companies to verify that each oil operates in the way that it should.  I have stories about this. Sooooo many stories.
Seal– Tested for efficacy and viability, each oil is bottled at the Utah warehouse in amber bottles and sent worldwide to homes and business. Including mine. My monthly order is the best day. Because it means that I am trying to do right by my family……and usher in a world of non toxic solutions that allow us to live above the wellness line.
This is my favorite photo album, This summer, Young Living actually paid for me and my friends to visit the farm. We were spoiled beyond words and toured the farm where they grow lavender. We swathe distillation process first hand. Being a science nerd, I ate it up. Every drop. Seed to seal is one of my favorite parts about this business. Being able to talk from first hand experience about the magic of Young Living.

Wow quite a journey. I love essential oils, my favorite is rose and I’ve read it takes a lot of rose petals to make just an itty bitty amount.
