As always the last few days of the year are always crazy busy at work. So here is my Public Service Announcement…. don’t forget you have to spend all the money in your Medical Spending Accounts by the first of January!! (Unless you really want to donate the money to Uncle Sam you better make some calls!!) You probably can’t get in for a full set of braces tomorrow….. but!!! …. a new pair of reading glasses or sunglasses is a GREAT idea. HEY!! I know a place! (I am ALL about the subtle!!) Anyway we were hoppin’ at work today. I’m sure that tomorrow will be just as busy. I’m exhausted!!! Busy is good, I don’t think about food. Course all that went right down the drain when I got home! Okay, I’ve already admitted I ate wayyyyy too much during the holidays. But now I need to know ‘when will my stomach shrink back down so I’m not RAVENOUS all the TIME?!?!?!‘ I’m soooooooooooooooo hungry!! It’s all I can do not to beg for food… like FUDGE and fruit cake (I still have Brandy Sauce left only we ate all the fruit cake… ) Noooo I do NOT want carrots! (unless of course it’s in carrot cake… you know… with the really good cream cheese frosting?!?) WOW if you weren’t hungry for junk food before you read this I’ll bet you are now cause I’m starving!! Just all around bad day. I don’t know about you but I am SOOO glad today is OVER!!! The whole day was just …. well… I think the picture says it all!! Yup! That pretty much sums it up!! Starting with exercise! My morning walk with Kaki kicked my tush!! I swear that hill got steeper over night!! Then the whole getting back into your day to day routine after you’ve had time off. UGH!! Even eating!!! Several days of eating too much food, (some NOT the best choices!) then try to go all day without munching?? THAT’s hard!! I guess I should be thankful I was at work where there isn’t a lot of available food to munch on. OHHH LOOK!!! Did you see that?!?! I found a silver lining!!! On that note……. Well, the holiday vacation is over. (I don’t wannnnna go back to work!!! I like VACATIONS!!!) DH took me to see Sherlock Holmes today GREAT movie!! That was a perfect way to end the weekend. But now, it’s time to get back into my routine. I’m working on laundry, the house is cleaned up. I’m even planning on getting to bed early, 6:00am comes wayyyyyy to early when you’ve been sleeping in. I really need to get back into my walking/exercise routine! Yes, that does mean I got on the scale this morning. NO I didn’t let out an earth shattering scream but I did say a few choice “BAD” words. So now… back to work. I like being in my skinny clothes! At least I had only a minor gain! I’ve been known to really put on weight during the holiday’s so a couple is okay…… and well…… I did deserve them. I really REALLY ate a lot! I did NO exercising!
