• MeCam A Wearable Video Camera #MeCam

    Wearable camera

Have you ever wondered what your pet sees?  Or what the crawling baby and toddlers see??  ME too!! I have a fun review to share with you today! A wearable camera!!  Check out the MeCam.   So of course the first thing I did was head over to my girl friend Debs house. She has two little munchkins, one of which is just a year old. OH MY GOSH!! Some of the video below is when we gave the baby the camera. SO FUNNY!! First, the MeCam is not a Go-Pro! The camera captures video in 720p. The still camera captures images with 5 megapixels. The final resolution of the video is 720 by 1280 P with 30 frames per second. NOT BAD at all!  The camera has an 8GB micro SD card but you can upgrade to a 16GB SD card. I’ve found that the camera does the best outside in bright light.  But, it doesn’t do too shabby in the dark because it uses infrared lights. The camera can be worn one of two ways with the rubbery elastic cord necklace or the safety-pin that is attached to the back of the MeCam.  The elastic cord has to be threaded…

  • Think Pink! October 2015 Beauty Box 5

    Beauty Box 5

Man I wish I could sing “it’s that time of the month again! My Beauty Box 5 has arrived!!” However, Beauty Box 5 is gone. Unfortunately, in July of 2017 Hurricane Henry hit Texas, Beauty Box 5 was one of the businesses that suffered. That makes me so sad. This months box has a great mix of products in my favorite color! This month’s Beauty Box theme is “Think Pink!”. Everything in the box is pink which fits in with October breast cancer awareness month. With that said, there is no mention of breast cancer awareness in the box; but I really feel it’s a given. As soon as I opened the box I ohh’ed and ahhh’ed. Happy Hands HappyFace Makeup Cleansing Cloth This makeup cleaning cloth is heavenly soft. I would love to have this in body size, as in a big ole winter blanket. It is softer than any baby blanket I’ve ever felt!! If I had a blanket made of this I’d never leave the couch!! For now I’ll be happy to wash my face with it. This makeup cleansing cloth removes all my makeup so softly. This cloth can be machine washed which is awesome. #wipethatfaceoff Ferro…

  • Dreamitall Sleep Deep, Dream Often

    Deep sleep aide

Okay, I have whined here A LOT about not being able to sleep at night. I toss and turn; I’m up I’m down. I do math; as in IF I fall asleep RIGHT NOW I can have 6 hours sleep! IF I fall asleep RIGHT NOW I can have 4 hours of sleep. Trust me this is the only time I’m good at math!   I’m exhausted!! When I do sleep I don’t dream. Or I should say I never remember my dreams. The Husband on the other hand, has vivid dreams, interesting dreams. I’m so jealous. I was approached by Dreamitall about a Natural Sleep & Dream Aid. Whaaaaa??? Sleep Aid I understand but a Dream Aid? Paaaaalease!! I’m not buyin’ it. I don’t dream. Sorry! BUT I will try it for sleep factor! Night one. HOLY SMOKES!! I took 2 capsules. I still didn’t get to sleep right away. I did toss and I turn until about midnight and bamb OUT like a light. I had dreams all night long!! • Boo’s Beard

    Boo's Beard book

Boo’s Beard is an adorable book written by Rose Mannering and illustrated by Bethany Straker. This is a book that aims to help kids understand social disabilities like Autism and Asperger’s syndrome. While the book over simplifies Autism and Asperger’s syndrome, there is enough there to get the ball rolling on the subject. Alice is 4-years-old and doesn’t grasp Autism or Asperger’s; but it never hurts to start early explaining the meaning of facial expressions. Tom can’t read facial expressions, so he doesn’t understand the other children and they don’t understand him. Playing at the park can be lonely sometimes, but luckily Tom has his dog, Boo, and Boo is easy to understand. She wags her tail when she is happy and whines when she is sad. One day, Boo gets her beard all knotted up in the bushes. A little girl named Lydia sees Boo and stops to talk to Tom. Boo’s beard has been tangled into a big smile, and Lydia explains to Tom that it’s the expression that someone makes when she is happy. She twists Boo’s beard into more expressions, explaining each one as she goes. When Lydia invites Tom and Boo to play on the swings…
