Step one…Write it down!
Kaki and I started the morning with our 45 minute walk. (You’ll be glad to know we didn’t bash husbands for the ENTIRE time we did touch on politics for a few minutes.) Followed by a conference call with Tyler at WellStrong Fitness. Even over the phone Tyler is enthusiastic and energetic about what he does. I have NO DOUBT I will reach my goals! Princess dress here I come! Tyler gave me my first assignment. A 3 day food journal. With times of day and how much I eat. While I do that Tyler is designing a home exercise routine that I can do after work during the week. (I guess Tyler didn’t think typing on the laptop while watching tv was enough strength and flexibility training. Maybe I should have mentioned the laptop gets really hot and I’m sure that melts fat!) And yes I went back and wrote that I had the butterscotch candy OKAY FINE! There were 5 of them! MAN!! Gracie will rat me out the first chance she gets!!!

5 Foods That Promote Oral Health!
Eating healthy seems to be a growing trend these days, and a lot of people are focusing on how food can affect their overall health, including oral health. However, something you may not know is that these healthy snacks you love can also provide great benefits to your teeth. Your friendly Twin Falls dentists at Summit Dental Care know just what you need to keep your teeth in great shape. Take a look at this list of foods that promote oral health. Cheese To all of you cheese lovers out there, this might be the best news you’ve read all day. Cheese has great health benefits for your teeth. It is a great source of calcium, which can help to build up enamel that has been damaged by acidic and sugary foods. It also lowers the acid levels in your mouth to help prevent damage caused by acids. Apples An apple a day keeps the… dentist away? Apples are like nature’s toothbrush. Their fibers scrub at your teeth, brushing away plaque as you bite into them, not to mention they help eliminate bad breath. That doesn’t mean eating an apple is a substitute for brushing your teeth, but you can…

Why do Holiday weekends go so fast!?!?!
There went that holiday weekend. Hot day = fruit salad for dinner. Can there be anything better? Watermelon, cherries, apples, peaches, banana and topped with yogurt. YUM!!! I’m keeping up with my water. (added bonus with the water is the exercise I get running back and forth down the hall!!) Tomorrow morning 8am my first conference with Tyler at WellStrong Fitness. I can’t wait to officially get started!! Let’s Ask Google To Swing Around Here Again Updating my blog’s SEO has officially entered the same category as cleaning behind the refrigerator. Necessary. Noble. Slightly horrifying. 🧹✨ Because nothing says “fun afternoon” like opening a five year old post and discovering half the images have vanished, three links lead to businesses that now exist only in memory, and somewhere deep in the code lives a font choice I definitely made during a caffeine spiral. Welcome to my glamorous life. Recently, I decided it was time to “freshen things up.” You know, a light polish. A little dusting. Instead, I uncovered what I can only describe as The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. This sneaky little phantom floats through my blog at night deleting pictures like a Victorian librarian with a grudge. “Oh,…

Three Smart Tips to Fostering Your Child’s Creative Side!!
Every parent wants their child to grow up to be well-rounded, right? Especially their creative side. However, doing so is easier said than done in our tech-crazy, hustle and bustle world. With little times in our schedules and the never-ending temptation to stick our kids in front of the television to get some peace and quiet, how can we possibly find time to encourage our kids’ creative side? First of all, relax. Bear in mind that there’s only so much control we have in terms of how our children grow up: all we can do is create the best environment we possibly can. In my experience, creating that creative spark is actually pretty simple. While there might be some struggles here and there, encouraging your child to use their imagination and fostering their creative side requires three distinct steps. Consider the following if you’re concerned about your child’s well-being and want to make sure you’re giving them the creative support they need. Be a Role Model If you want your kids to get involved with the arts, they need to see you as a role model for such behavior. I don’t have much of a creative bone in my body,…
