Happy 65th Birthday Church’s Chicken!!

My best gal pal (5-year-old Alice) and I headed out to lunch. Now, I have to tell you upfront Alice is a MickyD’s girl. She would live on Chicken Nuggets. The idea of going ANYWHERE except her place is unthinkable. Alice is 100% sure no one could have better nuggets. So we made a deal, The NaNa would get her chicken and then we would make a second stop for Alice. We walked into Church’s as someone walked by with their chicken strips. Alice said “NaNa, I want to eat here too” Trust me, I was floored and very excited! I just opened us up to a whole new menu for lunches out! HORRAY for ME!!!!
Church’s makes hand-battered chicken and the best crusty on the outside and flaky inside biscuits! Oh the biscuits are also topped with a drizzle of honey and butter. Yummmmmmmm. Yes, they DO taste as good as they look!
Alice actually ASKS for chicken from Church’s Chicken Strips!!

The chicken. Crunchy on the outside. Available in original or spicy. Tender, flavorful chicken on the inside.

Alice and I thoroughly enjoyed our absolutely delicious lunch!! Next week for our lunch out we are headed back to Church’s for their fish! It looks so gooooood!!

We had no idea that Church’s Chicken was so delicious. I also had no idea that they were all of 4 miles from Alice’s house! Great chicken! Excellent sides from mashed potatoes to mac-n-cheese. Corn nuggets to fried okra! Spicy rice the list goes on! D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S food!!
