Sunday Prayer Group Post Your Needs, Even Unspoken
This is the 3nd week of the Sunday Prayer Requests. I am co-hosting with my friend Sonya over at Sonya’s Happenings. I hope you will go over and see Sonya’s site! She’s a sweetheart! Trust me Sonya has a great sense of humor and A TON of Giveaways as well!!! She’s got it goin’on over there!!!
I’m not a real religious person. I was raised Catholic. However, I haven’t been to church in years. I do believe in the higher power of God. I do say my prayers at night. I do believe in the power of prayer. I don’t think prayers need to be formal I think you can just TALK to God. I really don’t think there is a wrong way to pray.
Sending good thoughts out into the universe for someone that is in pain, sad or just needs some peace in the life.
So many of us Peanuts could use a prayer said for them. Anytime you need it just stop by and request a prayer to be said in your name. You don’t have to say why. A simple “I could use some good thoughts this week” would be fine. If you want to elaborate feel free.
In return when you are talking to YOUR Higher Power mention which of the Peanuts that are in need. In this day and age, financial problems, health problems, loneliness, sadness are all around us. Maybe our little prayer group can make a difference. We won’t know until we try.

I’d like a prayer for my kids. They seem to be fighting, not talking and it HURTS my heart! Since they are 40 and 43 I can’t ground them till the get along. Being out of state doesn’t help. I need a higher power to help. So, please pray for Selena and Zachary that they get past this and get back to being best friends.

No prayers needed here. I just scream & shout or sing at the top of my voice if things get too much! Just knowing that someone cares means so much to so many people.

Kids are doing much better, thank you for your prayers. We had no school was cancelled all over due to weather. I think it might have been easier to tell what schools were open! Anyway it helped having them home for one more day.

I just love Sonya too. This is so nice of you ladies. Please pray for the poor little 6 yo girl Faye Swetlik and her family. She was found murdered here last week. They are about to air her autopsy report and the neighbor they suspect that did this in a few minutes. My heart has just been broken over this.

Oh Dana, that hurts my heart. 6 years old?! OMG. Many prayers for little Faye and her family. I just don’t understand who could hurt a child.

I don’t get it either. I was in tears watching the candlelight vigil they held for her last night.

I would like to ask for prayer for my little people. Little Morgan has gotten better and gone back to school. She just doesn’t look that good to me. She still has dark circles under her eyes. Hunter and their other sister are not doing so great either but determined to go to school. Most of the schools around here have had to close due to illness. Thank you all so much!

First of all you are not alone in the sibling fighting department! My son and his two sisters fight. Right now my son has disowned his sisters. I really can’t go into it but the girls have ampul reason for distancing themselves from his family. But he is still my son! No matter how bad his and his wife’s couches are. He is just now speaking to his dad and I. Since September. We thoulght we would do the right thing and give our possessions that were worth anything to them now instead of in a will. Wrong!!!! That’s why he was mad at us. We couldn’t even see the grandkids till now either. There are so much worse things to fight over. Come on! Well, one thing it keeps me on my knees. Keep you chin up Connie! I will be praying for you too, friend! Life is not for the weak!

Diane, Ohhhhhhhh my prayers are with you. Kids!! Yes, they do keep us on our knees. Hugs and prayers! Life is really not for the week. NEITHER is MOTHERHOOD!!!! Or aging. Yup, life…… not for the weak.

You are so right. Life is not for the weak and it seems like Moms stay on their knees more than they stand. God likes it that way though. I’ll be praying for you and your kids. Dealing with grown children is a new situation and it just takes prayer (at least for me).

Praying for your kids!
I need prayers for my husband who is returning to work tomorrow after being home for 3 1/2 months. He was in a head-on collision car crash (other driver went into his lane) and had 2 surgeries. He’s going back to work with a scooter and I hope he doesn’t overdo it too much.
