The Husband loves watches; however this is the first watch with a leather band and I have to say he looks awesome in it. Starting with the genuine calfskin strap, the band has a crocodile pattern embossing. The band is black and adds to the over all luxurious look. The watch face has a mineral crystal lens, with a stainless steel scratch-resistant case in gold tones with a pearl white face. Even more to love about the face of this watch is the small window that shows the inside gears with is not only unique and addicting to watch! Another thing that I really like is the crystal on the back which allows you to see the gears and mechanisms working inside.
The watch keeps excellent time, The Husband has worn this watch for a full month and it hasn’t lost a minute. To keep the watch running simply wear it! The watch winds automatically with the movement of your arm. The watch continues to work over night even with the watch sitting on the dresser. If you don’t wear this watch for a few days I’m sure that you would have to set the time. Of course if you have a watch stand that is designed for self-winding watches.
BONUS! The watch face is large enough that The Husband doesn’t need his glasses on to read the time in any light. Added bonus the hour and minute hands glow in the dark as well as the minute markers.
