Day 27 Photo-A-Day Up Close
So, I am sitting at my desk, looking over the Photo-A-Day Prompts trying to decide which one I want to use when I heard a noise that almost sounded like a shutter click from a camera. Saaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy what?!?!?! Then I remembered I live in Idaho which means a stupid BIG ASS BUG just landed somewhere close. I moved papers, books and was just about to close the lid on my laptop when I found the culprit! Stink BUG. BIG ASS BUGS! I hate stink bugs. They fly. They crawl. AND THE SMELL??? The closest description of the scent that I can come up with is stick your nose inside a bottle of Pine-Sol. That first chemical, strong scent is a stink bug. AHHHHHHACKKKK! LIGHT BULB!!!! Here is my UPCLOSE photo!! I only wish the computer had smell-a-vision!!! Yes, I do love to share my pain! They release the scent when disturbed. Crush ’em? You’ll have that scent much longer. Yup, learned that one the hard way. Throw ’em outside for the turkeys to eat is a way better solution. But do it FAST!!! Bear seems to think they are a delicacy! (Instert gagging motion here!!) It’s easy to catch stink…
Day 25 Photo-A-Day ODD
Photo-A-Day ODD is kinda funny. On a Duo phone call with 7-year-old Granddaughter Alice she wanted me to show her my new craft projects. When I opened one particular cupboard she told me this was ODD!!! Along with “that’s creepy” quickly followed by “MOM!!! Come see what’s in Non’s cupboard!” Seriously? You don’t have a very old doll head in your cupboard? Or a Barbie head?? Alice’s and The Momma’s reactions are exactly WHY I have doll heads in my cupboard. Peace out!
Day 24 Photo-A-Day A
Day 23 already of my very own personal Photo-A-Day challenge. Just a little recap for those of you that maybe stopping here for the first time. I have been in a blogging slump. I decided that a personal photo-a-day challenge would help me. So, I chose to share the inside of my craft-room. This is a HUGE space that I helped design. Tons of crafting space and absolutely the perfect craft-room. The photo-a-day challenge has helped me become more motivated to blog and craft! My March challenge is a compilation of about 6 different challenges that I grabbed from Pinterest. I shouldn’t even go to Pinterest……. it’s why there are so many projects scattered everywhere!! BUT, the beauty of having this space all to myself is the fact that the projects can stay where they are until the next day. Today’s prompt is A. Welllllllllll anyone that has been on Peanut Butter and Whine before you know that my favorite person is my seven year old Granddaughter Alice (sorry everyone else… she’s just so stinkin’ cute!! Trust me, you come in at a close second!!) So, I present you with A for Alice! I have pictures on cork boards, framed pictures…
Day 23 Photo-A-Day From My Front Door
This is a personal Photo-A-Day challenge which is a compilation of about 6 different challenges I grabbed from Pinterest. What makes this months unique is that it’s all pictures from the inside of my faBULOUS craft-room!! It’s an AMAZING space that’s all mine!! AND it’s HUGE!!!!!! It’s also total chaos, it’s hoarder haven and it’s decorated like the inside of my mind. Projects everywhere. Knick knacks enough to drive a sane person nuts. I picked the prompt From My Front Door. After I sat down to add the pictures I thought about it a minute. This isn’t technically the front door. I mean, you walk down the stairs to get to my room. I do have 2 double glass doors that go outside. Not a backyard really but an area that the deer and turkeys hang out and the view is well, ya know SPECTACULAR!! I went outside, disturbed the deer, made a turkey fly (YES!! They FLY!!! It’s LOUD as all get out and so weird to watch. But FLY they do!! I had no idea! They are so big! How is that even possible??) Notice in one picture I went inside and closed the laundry room door, picked up…
