• Day 23 Photo-A-Day From My Front Door

    Craft Room Doors Photo-A-Day

This is a personal Photo-A-Day challenge which is a compilation of about 6 different challenges I grabbed from Pinterest. What makes this months unique is that it’s all pictures from the inside of my faBULOUS craft-room!! It’s an AMAZING space that’s all mine!! AND it’s HUGE!!!!!! It’s also total chaos, it’s hoarder haven and it’s decorated like the inside of my mind. Projects everywhere. Knick knacks enough to drive a sane person nuts. I picked the prompt From My Front Door. After I sat down to add the pictures I thought about it a minute. This isn’t technically the front door. I mean, you walk down the stairs to get to my room. I do have 2 double glass doors that go outside. Not a backyard really but an area that the deer and turkeys hang out and the view is well, ya know SPECTACULAR!!  I went outside, disturbed the deer, made a turkey fly (YES!! They FLY!!! It’s LOUD as all get out and so weird to watch. But FLY they do!! I had no idea! They are so big! How is that even possible??) Notice in one picture I went inside and closed the laundry room door, picked up…

  • Day 22 Photo-A-Day Mason Jar

    Mason Jar Storage Photo-A-Day

Photo-A-Day Mason Jar.  Finally, a SUPER easy photo! One I am excited (pfffttttt like I haven’t been excited all month!??!) to share with you. My March Photo-A-Day challenge is a compilation of about 6 different challenges. What makes this months unique is that it’s all pictures from the inside of my faBULOUS craft-room!! It’s an AMAZING space that’s all mine!! It’s also total chaos, it’s hoarder haven and it’s decorated like the inside of my mind.  I think it was Tamra that asked to be inside my head for 5 minutes…… wellllllllllllllll…….. this room is pretty much EXACTLY like that!!  Projects everywhere. Knick knacks enough to drive a person insane. Seriously!  Even this post has gone off it’s rails. So back on track; Mason Jar. My Grandma collected buttons. LIKE A SERIOUS obsession! Before she donated clothes buttons came off. The woman had a button that would match EVERY outfit you could buy. Some of them are so pretty and some are plain. They were in a round, rusted ribbon candy tin forever. (Yes, I do still have the rusted ribbon candy tin. Hoarder people!! It’s a sickness!!) So, I keep my pretty buttons on the counter top. They make…

  • Day 21 Photo-A-Day BUBBLES!?

    Bubble Paint Pour Experiment Photo-A-Day

Today’s Photo-A-Day prompt is bubbles. BUBBLES?!  My other choices were negative space? Up close? My MOOD?? Yeah. Bubbles it is! Today I’m actually showing you a CRAFT instead of just my beautiful craft space! I am obsessed with cup pours (dirty pour, acrylic pours) artwork. Ever heard of it? I sure hadn’t. One day a new video popped up on YouTube and I was mesmerized. I just kept watching these videos. Finally, I decided ya know I packed all these craft paints. I have a ton of blank canvases; let’s do this thing!! First, it’s not as easy as they look! I mean it is and it isn’t.  The ratio is VERY important. The colors? Equally as important. My first three canvases looked like crap. (SURE! Start with a big canvas when you have no idea what you’re doing!)  So, I let them dry for a week and did a pour over the tops. HA! Recycling at it’s best! So for the BUBBLES prompt I did my own cup pour that came out pretty darn good for a beginner! Technically, these are cells and not bubbles but ya know… my challenge my interpretation. HA! I win! Now, while I am…

  • Day 20 Photo-A-Day My Choice

Antique Humpty Dumpty Stitched art work Photo-A-Day

Day 20 of my very own personal Photo-A-Day challenge. Just a little recap: For the month of March I am posting pictures from inside my HUGE craft-room. This is helping me get motivated to blog more often and share what an amazing space I have been blessed with.  I’m enjoying sharing my treasures with you and I’m seriously thinking of continuing into April.  I will share pictures of the inside of the rest of the house. Whaddya think? Then May the outside of the house? June could be the town of Sandpoint?  This might just work! Yes, these pictures show you what a hoarder, collector and wack-a-doddle I am. Now in my defense my Dad and my Grandfather were major hoarders so it’s in my DNA. Today’s prompt is My Choice. Technically, the entire month of March has been “MY CHOICE” but I’m going between 4 different lists picking and choosing which prompt to use. I’m going to share things that were made for me. From my welded horseshoe cowboy that my brother made me when he was in high school, 39 years ago. (That is my excuse for all the cobwebs on that bad boy!) Then a cross stitch…
