I took an infant CPR class tonight with my soon-to-be granddaughter’s parents, Selena and Dan.

All I can say is OHMYGOSH how did my babies manage to make it through to adulthood??

According to the books and handouts, it’s a complete and total miracle!!

The class touched on poisons and choking, drowning and electrocution, SIDS and car seats. OHHHHHHHHH holy moly!!

From where you are sitting right now? Do you see all the things that baby can choke on? Poisons?! Lithium batteries were a major poisoning item for babies last year. (I also have the poison control hotline in my cell phone right now……..800-222-1222 put it in yours too… just in case)

One more hint… In case it’s been a while since you’ve been to a class it’s 2 breaths and 30 compressions. It’s universal now… infants to adults as of 2011. See?? I am so helpful!!

ALSO! Don’t forget to go to the Police or Fire Station and have your child car seat installed correctly.
