I want to start this review with “Alice is the MOST stubborn child I’ve ever tried to Potty Train” EVER!!! E-V-E-R!!! I have tried EVERYTHING!! One of my followers said get a potty chair that she likes!! The next day the Tomoson site had the Disney Princess Magical Sparkle Potty by The First Years, I immediately applied and begged to get to write a review!!! PLEASSSSSSSEEEEEEE let me review the Princess Potty!!!!!!! When I was approved , I danced the happy dance!! Alice is beyond, OVER the top, princess obsessed!! I just KNOW this Princess Potty is the answer!!!
Disney Princess Magical Sparkle Potty System on the way, Alice and I went to Walmart, I let her pick out the Huggies® Pull-Ups® Brand Training Pants she wanted, she picked a candy bribe and a toy bribe. (Thank you PBnWhine followers for the awesome suggestions!!) Then we came home excited to say “Hello Pull-Ups®, Goodbye Diapers”!!
First, check out Alice’s face when she saw the box!!!
This potty chair is the perfect pink and purple color combination. The potty has beautiful detailing, like the sculpted Princess carriage. The Princess details are perfect and everywhere!! The Disney Princess potty seat even has magical ‘sparkle’ sounds!! BTW First Steps even includes the batteries!! That is a huge bonus for me.
The potty seat has an extra thick cushion which makes potty time comfortable. Alice will literally sit for 20, 30 and even 45 minutes with NO complaints!! She’s comfy!!

Now, all that said and done. Alice LOVES her new Princess Potty!! She shows it off to everyone!! She is proud of her Princess Potty!! Alice will sit on the potty for the longest time!! Alice LOVES sitting on the potty! LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to push the button for the ‘Magical Sound’ Alice will sit on the potty while NaNa takes the doctor kit out of the box and shows her all of her bribes. I describe each toy with enthusiasm adding “Alice wouldn’t you like to play with this??” Alice is HYPED!!! She’s excited. She wants the toys!! She wants the M&M’s for going pee pee in the potty. Everything!! I’ve got everything!! Alice is hyped!! NaNa is hyped!!! So, Alice??? Whaddya say?? Please??? Pee-pee on the potty???? Ummmm so far the answer is a resounding NO!!! Alice sat for 45 minutes on the potty, then ran into the living room and immediately (I do mean IMMEDIATELY) pee’d on the carpet. WHY?!?!?! This kid is killing me!! Well, as long as she is potty trained by, say 32 I think I’m fine….. right?? Stay tuned for the battle of the potty!!
We do LOVE the Princess potty chair from The First Years!! I truly think this is the prettiest, sturdiest potty chair out there, that actually grows with your child!! This is the LAST potty chair we need!! A Princess Potty for the Princess Alice.

Aw how adorable! She is just the cutest little thing! The potty chair gives the Throne a new meaning. Now that going in style. Take Alice in where you have the potty and after she is on it turn on the faucet just enough to hear a little trickle sound, that usually helps. Did that for mine and 7 out of the 8 granddaughters so far.
