Let’s Play Pickleball!!! Yes, Pickleball! With The Hudef Pickleball Paddle

My husband and I have recently discovered the addicting game of Pickleball I’m not even certain it’s a sport but it’s fun and it’ll get your blood pumping.

Exactly what is Pickleball??

The Basics

It’s a super fun sport combining tennis, badminton and ping-pong all in one fun game.  This game can be played inside or outdoors. I’m all for outdoors personally. When playing outside it’s a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.  The game uses plastic balls with holes.  The game can be played as doubles or singles.

This is a game that works for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Set the net to a height of 36 inches at the sidelines and 34 inches in the middle. The court is striped similar to a tennis court with right and left service courts and a 7-foot non-volley zone in front of the net (referred to as the “kitchen”). Courts can be constructed specifically for Pickleball or they can be converted using existing tennis or badminton courts. 

We bought a small setup for playing in the courtyard and it included a cheap set of wooden Pickleball Paddles that we love. Only during a recent vacation in Morro Bay did we discover that there was a world outside of our cheap wooden paddles. Players were using fancy graphite paddles that made the ball sound different, almost a ‘POP’ and I immediately wanted one for no reason other than they were cooler looking than ours.

The Hudef Pickleball paddle is AH-wait for it -MAZING! There are three considerations when selecting a paddle – weight, grip size and price and this paddle has it all. The paddle is lightweight, coming in under 8 ounces which allows for better ball control and less injury to the player. Heavy paddles equal more work resulting in higher likelihood of injury. The paddle is carbon fiber which makes it sturdier and less prone to dents and dings, its graphite face is waterproof and textured to enhance ball control and anti-slip. The paddle is surrounded by a plastic guard that prevents the paddle from being damaged when dropped. The Hudef is moderately priced and worth your money!

NONE!!! Who knows you may inspire someone else’s game when sporting this next level Hudef Pickball Paddle. I think I play better, okay mostly it’s in my head. But it looks great!!
