I don’t that for people who were an adult or old enough to comprehend what happened, they will ever forget or have it diminished. What is harder is for people not yet born, or very young to understand it in a similar way.
This is one of those dates that I never will forget where I was and what I was doing when this act of terrorism took place. It’s hard to believe it’s been 14 years. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday and sometimes it feels like it was a lifetime ago. Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture.
I was in Paris when I heard about the Twin Towers & was on one of the last flights out of France. I finally got home at about 3am (Irish time) & just sat watching the devastation unfolding on the telly. The heroism of the firefighters, police and individuals did you proud, America.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 14 years, isn’t it? There are teenagers with no memory of that day. Yet, to those of us who do remember, it seems like yesterday.
