Playing House With Tinksky Happy Family Dolls!
Last year Uncle Zac built a two-story doll house for Alice. It’s Alice’s absolutely favorite place to play. She cried like crazy when the Elf on the Shelf was found inside the doll house because it meant that the house couldn’t be played with. I tried to explain that the other rooms were fair game to be played in; but Alice didn’t want to take a chance. She takes the Elf on The Shelf and her doll house very seriously!
Check out the new family that just moved in. Tinksky Happy Family; Wooden Doll Family. This is a family of six. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, brother and sister. All 6 of these dolls are wooden dolls.
These dolls don’t bend or sit they can stand alone.
The dolls arrive in cute little outfits. These outfits do not come off. The outfits are hemmed and attached well to each doll.
The Grandma even has on an apron. Grandpa is super cute with the shiny bald head, wearing a gray vest and painted on glasses. Both Grandma and Grandpa have gray hair. Mom, dad and the brother have reddish hair and the sister has bright yellow hair. The hair on each of the dolls is a very light weight yarn. The hair is well attached to each of the dolls.
These are cute little wooden dolls with painted on faces. The feet are egg-shaped and help the dolls stand on their own. The hands are small rounded beads.
The adults are almost a full 5 inches tall and the two children are 4½ inches tall.
The girl doll even has a cute little red bow in her hair.
The clothing is bright and fun on each doll. The details are just so cute!!
WHINES
None!! This a super cute set of dolls. Alice is having a great time with this set, especially since the Elf on the Shelf went home!! More to love is the fact that this set of 6 wooden dolls is under $9 and Amazon Prime eligible.

Lordy, I’m so out of touch! I haven’t a clue what Elf on the Shelf is all about. That said, I think it’s brilliant that children (and adults) can get so much enjoyment from ‘real’ playing and learning that fun doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.
