How many times do bring up the fact that 2o25 sounded like a zillion years away when I was in high school? I know …. a lot…. but DANG!! Now it’s August of 2025? Where is my Rosie robot maid? Where is my flying car? What did you think the future would hold?

July was BUSY! We hired 7B Forestry Mulching to come in and clean up the top of the mountain. They did an AMAZING job! AND BONUS! NO FIRE!!! If you don’t know THAT story and are interested here is a link to that post.

The BEST part of July, though…. I bought myself a laser machine. I am HAVING A BLAST!! I SHOULD be making my Christmas items for the craft fair but…. it’s August. Isn’t that Halloween season?? WELL, YES IT IS!! Thank you very much. So, I’m making Halloween stuff. I’m also practicing with different designs and materials. SO FAR!! I’ve made bread bag holders. Instead of the plain ole plastic bag tie lets use a wooden one! Mind you these are just first tries, so they aren’t 100% yet. I need to work on the etching and so on. But they are cracking me up!

Then I played with slate coasters. Cork coasters and wooden ones as well.

Then I made dog poop bag holders. Stir sticks, cut outs, signs, and well so much fun. So many ideas!

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD then…….. I found I can laser etch FLASKS!! 

Soooo pretty much if it sits still long enough it will have vinyl on it or get etched.

What else should I try?? I’m thinking I need to see what happens if I try and etch a ROCK! Right??
