Weekly update

I’ve decided that Sundays are going to be my picture updates for the room addition. Unless I come home from work and something really needs to be shared I’ll just update once a week. But for now here are today’s pictures.

Soooo ‘member how I said “this contractor sure likes to dig holes??’ Well, they are still at it! The hole in the front yard is wider and deeper. The holes on the side of the house is longer and deeper. AND NOW we have a hole leading to the attic!! So to sum up the addition so far…. I have piles of dirt and holes everywhere outside. I also have an incredible amount of dirt inside!! I am amazed at how much dirt has managed to wind up on my floors and all over my furniture! It’s a loosing battle to keep this place clean. I hope my Mom has new rubber gloves and a good scrub brush cause she’ll be cleaning and scrubbing for a LONG time when she moves in!!

I’m Refreshing My Blog (and Exorcising Some Digital Ghosts)

Updating old blog content is like digital archaeology—except I’ve unearthed a full-on resident spirit: The Ghost of Peanut Butter and Whine.

This digital poltergeist has been causing absolute chaos behind the scenes. If things look a little haunted around here, here is the proof:

The Vanishing Act: The ghost keeps deleting my best images and video tutorials, leaving behind sad, empty boxes.
The Link Graveyard: It’s been sneakily stripping away my trusted brand partners and replacing them with sketchy “AI Crypto” links.
Font Sabotage: Apparently trapped in 2001, it keeps reverting my clean layout back to “Geocities-era” antique fonts.

My 2026 Blog Refresh Plan

To banish these spirits and keep my traffic climbing, I’m launching a step-by-step exorcism plan:

Exorcise the 404s: Running a broken link checker to track down every dead end and missing image.
Modernize Recommendations: Swapping out outdated products for my absolute 2026 essentials.
SEO Deep Clean: Refreshing metadata and strategically placing focus keywords.
