ZMODO Sight 180 Security Camera Review

Since I began reviewing products ZMODO has always been one of my favorite companies. The customer service is amazing. The products are easy to use and continually provide us with the peace of mind for our home security.

This camera is sleek looking. It reminds me of a little happy robot. So, much so I think he should have a name, I’m thinking Steve. Seriously, how cute is Steve?!
Last year at CES 2017 I was in awe of the new and exciting products that ZMODO has in store. Absolutely everything you could as for in a Smart Home. From curtains that open with the sun, to cameras you can mount in the ceiling. To the little computer butler. You may remember that I tried my darndest to bring him home with me.

The Sight 180 reminds me of the robot. Right?

The 2017 iF Design Award winner, Zmodo Sight 180, is technically designed in a discrete structure: The smooth spherical camera with 180° viewing angle is magnetically connected to the bracket, which makes the rotation easy but stable.
The Sight 180 really does give you 180° Viewing Angle with 1080p Full HD. The HD 1080p resolution gives me such a beautiful detailed view of the entire area. DAY OR NIGHT!!

The app allows me to even adjust the sensitivity of the camera. Whats more important is the two-way audio!

If you have been following PBnWhine for a while then you know that last month my Mom fell and broke her hip. She is back home with us now and doing physical therapy here. So, of course I worry about her falling again and this camera couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I have the camera set up to alert me when there is movement with a single chime. This camera really does give me peace of mind.

This camera will work whether you need to tell the kids to stop rough housing! (Is that still a phrase? My Mom use to yell that at my brother and I all the time!) Or if you want to tell the dog to get off the couch. This camera will work for you.

The app will save a motion clips in the cloud for 36 hours for free.

No whines here. The camera allows me not to stress over my Mom 24/7. She has her independence and I have peace of mind. It’s a win win.
