We Love You LEGOLAND California!!
Since I’m a LEGOLAND California Ambassador (YEAH ME!!) I have decided to dedicate at least one post a month of Alice and my private trips. I will combine photos from the entire month. Y’all know the only reason I have a blog to share photos of the Grandkids! So, rather than posting pictures here on Peanut Butter and Whine, every single visit (you are very welcome!) I’ll combine them into one post. However, I will post pictures on Instagram every single visit, I can’t help it. Which is a lot!! LEGOLAND California is just one of those places that Alice and I go. First, it’s a mile (yes, just one mile) from Alice’s house. I KNOW she will have fun every single time we go! With the Merlin Pass (which includes FREE PARKING!!) I don’t care if Alice is ready to leave in an hour! We have fun! And mostly because I know I know can wear her OUT!!Today’s trip was awesome!! We rode rides, danced in Heartlake City with Mia, Emma, Stephanie, Olivia and Andrea (the absolutely adorable Heartlake City girls!) So full of energy that Alice can’t help but dance.Although Alice is very concerned about a missing LEGO…
No More Beige Food by Leanne Shirtliffe Review
“What’s for dinner!?” that has to be one of the most annoying and tiring sentence’s that parents hear at the end of a busy day. Closely followed by “I don’t like this” Seriously, when did Alice get so picky when it came to meals?!? UGH! It’s frustrating and irritating that she isn’t 16 and I could tell her FINE; then YOU COOK!! Leanne Shirtliffe is an award-winning humor writer as well as a part of a movement to make children’s books more diverse. Part of her mission lead her to create the character Wilma Lee Wu. This is the second book to feature Wilma Lee Wu. Wilma is a cute little girl in this adorable book No More Beige Food. When Wilma sits down to a dinner of; well Wilma wasn’t sure! It was all beige! Wilma begs her parents “PLEASE! No more beige food” and probably my favorite page in the whole book and like most parents would love to say Wilma’s mom replies flatly “So, go learn to cook” ohhhhh to be able to say that to our kids! This cute book follows Wilma and her little brother as they interview the neighbors. The neighborhood is richly diverse with so many…
Boogers! Phlegm and Mucus! And A Sneeve
The cold from HELL has been around in our family for months now. We keep giving back and forth! I’m really ready to pass it along to another family already…. any takers?? One really cool and unique thing I have to help us get rid of this cold is the Sneeve. I have to tell you, Alice was so funny when I told her we were going to review the Sneeve. She turned to me and said “What the heck is a Sneeve?” So I explained it’s a sleeve that goes over your arm, over your sleeve and collects gross things like germs and she immediately said “oh like boogers” Yup, like boogers. The Centers for Disease Control recommends coughing and sneezing into the upper sleeve to help stop germs from spreading. Given that kids in the U.S. average about 10 colds a year, that’s a lot of coughing and sneezing into a whole lot of sleeves. So I snapped some pictures of Alice with her Sneeve on then we did our video review. All is well; the review is going great; I mean hello, why wouldn’t it? Cute kid, ingenious product. Each Sneeve fits well; and are comfortable to wear per 4-year-old Alice. The Sneeve fits at…
UPmall Glazed Glass Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace
I am a huge aromatherapy fan. Aromatherapy not only treats your mind but your body and spirit as well. Aromatherapy can reduce pain, help you sleep better, calm you down, give you energy and raise your mood. I have a beautiful way to carry those scents with you!! This review is for the UPmall Glazed Glass Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace For Aromatherapy. This Grass Green diffuser hangs on a silk cord that you can adjust from 20″ to 27″. Seriously, what a beautiful way to bring your favorite Aromatherapy scents with you! The pendant itself is glass that has been imported from Italy. The beads used with this necklace, also imported from Italy. The glass pendant and beads are absolutely stunning. Eye catching to say the least. The soft grass-green color with gold accents surrounds the silver ‘well’ that holds the scents. The over all look is so unique! The top has beads at both ends of the cork. A large green glass bead with a gold bead dangle on top of the very small cork. The bottom of the cork is a silver mirrored, flat bead. I’m so amazed that even the cork is expertly crafted to be beautiful!…
