April 3 Photo-A-Day SHAPES
Photo-A-Day Shapes. When we bought this house the previous owners left the table. Probably because of the sheer size! It’s massive. It’s solid. It’s HEAVY!! It looks as if it’s handmade. It’s so pretty. I plan to LIGHTLY sand the table and apply a dark stain to it. I just want the coffee rings off, but to keep the character marks. I plan to recover the cushions. I bought a plain dark brown material. It’s all on the very long ‘to do list’ Seriously, by the time I get my list done I’ll be 110 years old. April 2nd Photo-A-Day Too Many
Photo-A-Day Too Many. This one is easy!! That’s what I thought before I started looking around. I have TOO MANY of a lot of things!! The hoarder in my says ‘nooooooooo not TOO many, not enough!!’ EXCEPT for this!!! Here are my too manys TOO DAMN many stairs!! 45 to be exact. 45 STAIRS from the laundry room to the master bedroom. 45 stairs from my amazing craft room to the master bedroom. 45 FORTY FIVE stairs. What the hell were we thinking?!?! Also, that railing is filthy! Not to mention the stairs. July of 2023 we said UNCLE and added a Stiltz Elevator. Laundry day is SO MUCH EASIER!!!!…

Photo-A-Day FUNNY! What else would you post for the first of April other than FUNNY!??! I decided to share the additional original artwork from Jack Jenkins. While I was a waitress, cook, dishwasher (small town! Only one person works a shift!) I had a customer that I absolutely adored, Jack Henry Jenkins. He didn’t have a lot of money. He did have A LOT of talent. He would sketch on the back of placemats for my tips. He did occasionally bring painted pictures as well. Those are hung in a different area of the house.
