Aurora Ascend1, Truly Wireless Earbuds Review

Headsets are something I tend to go through quickly. Oh, not because they break or stop working but because I have two grown children that seem to think they should get spoiled; after-all, what could MOM possibly want with a headset?! Well, these truly wireless earbuds are MINE! ALL MINE!! I’m hiding this pair. The Aurora-Ascend1 – Truly Wireless Earbuds have true premium stereo sound!! They boast Bluetooth 4.1 w/ Dual Digital Mics; they are sweat-proof and some how, some way, NEVER fall OUT!! As in chase around the 5-year-old Granddaughter Alice around and still have access to my phone without actually having to HOLD my phone to my ear!!

The charging case is as cute as can be! It looks like a little face when the earbuds are inside.

Staring with the case. The case not only holds the earbuds but will give me 5 charges for a total of 15 hours of battery life.  Simply place the earbuds in the case the little pads are magnetic so when the earbuds are placed in the cradle they feel like they lock in place. I keep the case in my purse which means they get knocked around a lot and the earbuds still charge quickly; like wicked fast. Less than an hour for a full 3.5 hour charge of continuous music playing.  Or a full day of on and off phone calls. Charging the case with the earbuds inside is easy, I am not certain how long that takes since I charge the case overnight and then throw the whole thing in my purse in the morning. The charger shows a red light when it needs charging and a bright solid blue when the earbuds and case are fully charged.

The fit is amazing. Very comfortable. Nothing that pinches or makes your ears ache after wearing them for the day. They are very lightweight. Aurora Ascend1 arrives with extra silicone ear pieces in a larger and smaller size, so they truly fit a vast array of ear sizes. The mediums are a perfect fit for me.
Between the charging dots on each earbud is an R and L so you can tell which is which.

While I can NOT get my mind wrapped around it, these are amazing for phone calls. I kept asking people about the sound quality of the phone call trying to explain that the mic was somewhere in a ‘hearing aide’ size earbud. Every single person said it sounded like I had my phone to my ear. WOW!! Technology is amazing!

Pairing. WICKED FAST times two. Seriously, no muss, no fuss pairing. Then once you’ve paired the earbuds the first time simply hold down the silver button on the top for a 3 to 6 count and bam you’ll hear a “Power On”  “Connected”  “Left Channel”  “Right Channel”  “Connected”. (It’s so fast that I had to turn the earbuds off twice just to type what was being said. Hold the buttons down for a 3 count again and hear “Power Off” The earbuds turn off automatically after 5 minutes if they aren’t connected to a device.
I’ve paired the earbuds with both my iPad Mini and my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone both work perfectly.
Now, size, cuteness and great battery life are nothin’ if the sound isn’t good. These earbuds have excellent sound quality. I am very pleased!! The bass is great, like Randy Travis deep voice! To the excellent highs like Mariah Carey. I am thoroughly pleased with the sound! While sitting on the couch binge watching my Netflix shows I am as happy as a clam! (Are clams truly happy?  Who in particular was it that asked them?)

Another great perk is the fact you can use only one earbud at a time. Actually the best perk is the fact that there are NO wires anywhere! SWEET!!

WHINES

Not really a whine but, they are white. I hang with a tom-boy child she is dirty, which means I too am dirty. I have paint, chalk, sand, dirt everywhere! I’m worried that these will show fingerprints and smudges quickly. So far these clean up easily with a damp cloth.
