Curl Keeper Gel Review

I was anxious to try Curl Keeper Gel because after curling my hair in the morning the style is gone by noon. When I apply this gel either after I’ve washed my hair or on dry hair before I style it my curls last all day!!

Curl Keeper Gel gives me a strong hold with out my hair feeling crunchy or like straw. I love that.

CurlA few tricks I’ve learned with Curl Keeper Gel is waiting for my hair to be damp, not straight out of the shower wet, the gel seems to work best for me then. My favorite way to use this gel is at night; I twist my hair in different size chunks of hair, twist and keep twistinCurlersg until I have extra-large pin-curls. I hold these pin-curls in place with the hair ties that resemble phone cord. Twist that in your hair and they hold all night. Take them out in the morning and you’ll have great beach like waves throughout your hair.

The next day I slightly mist my hair with water to re-activate the Curl Keeper Gel and then lift and scrunch; wait for my hair to be completely dry again before I tousle my hair. I’m good to go for another day! Another day of all day curls!

Curl Keeper™ Gel with panthenol gives ultimate holding power without flakiness or crispiness. A water-based formula, Curl Keeper™ Gel leaves no product buildup and supports any curly hairstyle for longer. Great for scrunching curly hair, styling with brushes, blow-drying or drying naturally.

Directions Distribute evenly on wet or dry hair. Use alone or with Curl Keeper™ Original. Reactivates with water.

The scent it isn’t a pleasant one, it reminds me of smell of a perm. It does go away after your hair is completely dry. This curl keeper is great for all types of hair. It truly is a curl keeper!!

I haven’t used a gel to help hold my curls before. I’ve wanted a no-heat method to curl my hair and this gel with the hair ties is something I’d like to try.

I’ve never heard of Curl Keepers before but then I cut my crowning glory locks off years ago & it’s just too much trouble too grow it out again! I am lucky though in that my hair has a natural wave to it so all I do is shampoo, towel dry & tousle & I’ve a head of curls for free!
