What a wonderful holiday I am enjoying this year…We had a snowstorm and a good many roads are closed with others drive cautiously…very glad i have nowhere to travel to..
Setting up my menus for NYE and our traditional New Years Day – my husband was never crazy about Hungarian food so i always had to make an alternative no more!!

    Wishing everyone a pleasant day….

  • l p

the day is going well. out for a long walk this morning. mercifully, the weather was good for walking. had a lovely visit with friends later. the evening is quiet. I’m so looking forward to having longer days. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Shannon Mitchell

The day is going well, I got all the Christmas decorations taken down and put away, the inside ones. The inflatables are still drying out, then I’ll put them away.

  • Shelly Peterson

I head to Potland early in the morning for a dr. appointment. My insurance won’t cover a virtual appointment so I have to drive from WA. State to Oregon for a consult. I hope the roads are good.

  • Tamra Phelps

I’m having sort of a blah day. It’s gray and looks like rain, getting colder again and I’m feeling tired, lol. So, I guess it’s just a dull day.

  • l p

the day is going well. out for a long walk early today. the sun’s shining so it doesn’t feel as cold as it could. after lunch went to a friend’s place for tea. enjoy your day. thanks

  • heather

I really changed up my routine this morning which I never do. I finished watching a movie this morning and had my breakfast and tea. I have to make a trip to the library this morning. Have a nice Saturday.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Happy Boxing Day/St. Stephen’s Day! Finally got to cook the happy free-range Harriet this afternoon along with all the trimmings and LOTS of sprouts. Very yummy. Best tip for cooking chicken or turkey: cook it upside-down! All the fat and juices from bird flow down into the breast meat – perfectly tender meat every time.

  • Michele Soyer

Happy Boxing Day All! I have to remember it is not a holiday here after over 20 years celebrating it..Oh well I still celebrate…my daughter had to work so I plan on watching a movie, music ( dancing too) leftovers for lunch and a lovely punch de creme a bit later….

  • heather

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I plan on doing some major relaxing today. It’s hard to believe that some people go shopping today I mean mall shopping.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Happy Christmas one and all! I got a call from Michael, the son of my friend John (RIP) on my way home yesterday. Would I like to join them for Christmas dinner? I explained that I’d got everything organised, even peeled the sprouts, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. In the end we compromised, he and Grace, his eldest brought over a big plate of turkey, ham and all the trimmings, even a little jug of gravy! I’ll do my stuff tomorrow instead!

  • Suzie B

Merry Christmas!! Im looking forward to a day of celebrations with my loved ones 🙂 Hoping everyone has a wonderful day, no matter what you are doing – may it be filled with love and laughter,

  • heather

Merry Christmas! Hope you have a very blessed day full of good food and time with loved ones. I am spending it with family and pets.

  • Tamra Phelps

Christmas Eve. It seems like we got here so quickly this year, lol. I hope everyone is happy this year. This time always seems to make me miss the ones who are no longer here, but I think that’s true of most of us.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Well, it may be Christmas Eve but rescue centres never close. We all agreed to start an hour earlier than usual so we could get home before it got too cold (we’re due a heavy frost & ice tonight). So busy, busy, busy then the 50 minute drive home to more litter box cleaning & cat feeding!

  • Michele Soyer

All goodies delivered and my Amazon came early..Now I can read until lunchtime then off at 3 for the trip to St Paul for mass at the cathedral….Champagne and goodies when we come back… I really miss my mom this morning..she would follow me room to room and chat while I prepared things…I think she really couldn’t wait for me to pop the champagne..lol Merry Christmas all!

  • heather

Merry Christmas Eve to everyone. I am all set for the big day just need to do some wrapping. I am making some dishes today in the kichen. I am making deviled eggs this morning.

  • Tamra Phelps

This has been an odd day. We are in that weird time around Christmas when every day sort of feels like a Saturday, with no regualr programming, lol. And I’m feel so tired! Ugh. That, I’m sure, has everything to do with it getting dark before 5 p.m.

  • l p

the day is going well. did some volunteering this morning. when I got home, there was a box of beautiful flowers outside my door – made my day. then distributed some of yesterday’s baking. later I’ll be making some biscuits for neighbours while listening to some of the music I love. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Kate Sarsfield

I fell back to sleep this morning & didn’t wake till lunchtime! Finished tidying up, found the Christmas lights & baby tree and put them up. Got Harriet the Happy Hen out of the freezer and made the stuffing. I’ll prep the veg tomorrow when I get home.

  • Michele Soyer

2 pm plan on sitting down for lunch.. Spent the morning making Buche de Noel (s) 3 …. whew glad that is done…making the marzipan mushrooms takes a lot of time..
Will deliver 2 of them later to my lovely neighbors..
Christmas stollen in the oven and Panetonne also…
Now to sit back and relax…
Happy Christmas Eve Eve to all.. I do love this season!

  • heather

I have some running around to do later on this morning gotta get it done as I am not sure what will be open tomorrow. Plus I have some cooking and baking to get done tomorrow. I gotta admit I am worn out already this week. Still gotta wrap presents. Have a nice day out there.

  • l p

the day is going well. it’s bread-baking day so I’m almost finished the Christmas gift breads in addition to the usual ones. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Tamra Phelps

I still have some Christmas candies to make, but I’m basically done with holiday stuff. Hey, I hung a wreath and made the fudge, and called it done, lol.

  • Michele Soyer

The party went very well.. All I believe had a pleasant time.. all the food is gone and drinks were abundant!
Music, lively conversation what more can you ask for? Dancing.. that was here also!
Last evening I went out for cocktails – the spirit of the holidays is everywhere..
Today laundry and making a grocery list for tomorrow…

  • heather

I have some work to do around the house today not sure if I will be hitting any stores today. I purchased our Christmas ham yesterday so that’s done. I am also craving spinach dip in a sour dough round bread so I got everything for that.

  • Tamra Phelps

Well, we aren’t even through December and I’m tired of the dark moving in before 5 p.m., lol. It seems like the days whiz by and nighttime drags on forever.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Happy Winter Solstice! Can’t wait for the longer hours of daylight. Heading outside to make the wreath – tried doing it inside but the cats tried to help & there I was chasing them round the house with sprigs of greenery in their mouths!

  • heather

Happy Winter Solstice! It’s gonna be one fast day today. I have to do some running around then I will be back home to heat up the homestead and check back to see if the form is working.

  • l p

the day is going well. baking cookies and tarts as gifts for friends while listening to music I love. it’s snowing outside – gentle big flakes – which add to the atmosphere. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Kate Sarsfield

Busy day today! Washed all the windows inside & out, then vaccumed, dusted & polished everything in the front 2 rooms (my bedroom & the ‘good’ room), put away laundry, went to the pharmacy to collect my monthly meds and wrote more lists! Tomorrow I’ll make the wreath & decorate the house and get the lights & baby Christmas tree out. It’s older than me & was bought when the parents had their first apartment together!

  • Suzie B

I have the blues something terrible; I just am struggling to get myself going these days! Looking forward to Christmas next week – but really overwhelmed too!

    • Elizabeth

It’s been a tough year all around! I feel exactly the same way. Just be good to yourself; it’s okay if things aren’t perfect.

  • heather

We are doing some decluttering and reorganizing here today. We will be throwing out a lot of things that we just don’t need. I think my back already hurts lol.

  • Michele Soyer

Off to the store this morning to pick up a ham for the holidays..a bottle for a present and home! Everything set for the get together this evening so all I need do is set the tables and organize the platters and make more ice!! Everyone have a fabulous Saturday….

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s been a day, lol. It hasn’t been bad or anything, just sort of one of those days where I feel I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I have no idea why!

  • Shannon Mitchell

Woke up with a migraine this morning, glad that’s gone. I get them a lot.
Looking forward to the weekend and some time to relax a bit tomorrow. I’m probably baking most of Sunday, but I like that.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Gathered lots of foliage today ready to make the Christmas Wreath and decorate the house. Went into town & got my veggies, I know it’s a bit early but I’ve no patience for crowded shops. Lots of sprouts to look forward to!

  • heather

I have to do some running around today and I think it’s raining pretty good outside right now. Still dark out here so it’s hard to tell whats going on weather wise. Hope you have a great Friday out there.

  • Shannon Mitchell

I’m doing better today than yesterday. The weather is really blowing in a cold front, temperatures will be dropping 40 degrees this afternoon.

  • l p

the day is going well. the sun’s out so it’s warmer. I’m looknig forwrard to the solstice and enjoying some longer days. out early to get some groceries for a neighbour and myself. it’s great – there aren’t as many shoppers which makes it faster. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

Today is my moms birthday.. wherever you are Helen know I still remember your laugh and joy for life…Love her so much and miss her…Champagne today in honor of her…she loved it!

  • heather

I have to make a trip to the local library this morning and also the super expensive local rural market where a gallon of milk is $7.25! Hope you have a nice day out there. This last week before Christmas goes super fast.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Heading into town for a much-needed haircut. Had to cancel twice last week when I wasn’t well. Did I tell you about thinking I had worms? Last week, went to the loo, flushed & there was this long stringy thing moving around in the water. Really thought it was a worm. Put my glasses on, scooped it out … Turned out it was a leaf, fallen from the plant on the bathroom window sill!

  • Cathy L

Starting to get where I don’t enjoy reading daily comments. Let us all be kind and remember the important things that are not good to discuss. The people that stay quiet don’t agree with the ones that take any opportunity to just say “things”. However, if one of the quiet ones even said something small, they would be argued with. It is always the same – some people keep poking just wanting to start something. Be Christian – at least the time of year… and Be Nice. God Bless everyone, on both sides.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Driving home from the rescue centre in the dark & rain was, for once, lovely! All the little twinkly Christmas lights in the houses are beautiful. They’re my favourite thing about Christmas 🙂

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s a little bit warmer today, so there’s that. Lol, I have sort of just surrendered to the idea that everything just is what it is…for now.

  • l p

the day is going well. out volunteering all morning. the weather’s not that great today so I was very thankful when offered a ride home. a cup of tea put everything right in the warmth at home. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

The state of the country and the world at large had me in a place…and here in MN my goodness there are times I just get so upset, screaming at the TV…
A bit calmer today but still there is a feeling of sadness in me that I can’t shake – never thought i would see things get so…
Had a 7am delivery this morning of groceries so everything is put away and the house is done and dusted..
It is almost 1pm so i think a single malt before lunch would do me the world of good…Kate and Tamra if you were here I would count you both in!

    • Tamra Phelps

Right there with you about the state of everything right now! It boggles my mind that I am seeing these things in this country. I do feel things shifting gradually back to sanity, I think–but how depressing that it had to get so bad before so many gave a damn, you know? Hang in there. Things come round right in the end…I hope.

  • heather

I am working around the house today need a break from running around. Had to ‘bird dog down’ a package from Amazon yesterday and still ticked off about it. They always ship items UPS to the house but for zero reason they sent one of my Christmas packages to the Post Office sooooooooo I had to wait behind 1000 people lined up at the counter just to pick it up!!!!!!!!

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s been a slow day, really. I read, watched Tv, even napped, lol. I did get some groceries in, but that’s about it. It’s still rezing here, below freezing–but it’s supposed to get back up into the 60s in a few days, which will be a big relief as far as I’m concerned!

  • Kate Sarsfield

Oooh!! It froze hard last night. Had the central heating on for the first time this winter. Got lots of jobs done today and am just about caught up with myself, even vacuumed for a bit with the new machine. Delighted with it (it’s got special filters for allergens so I’m hoping it’ll improve the air quality a bit). Only jobs left to do for Christmas is make the wreath and buy lots & lots of brussel sprouts!

  • l p

the day is going well. I’m staying in today after a crazy day of appointments and ‘run-arounds’. I did get everything accomplished but it took much longer than expected. at least today I have a list and know what is expected. enjoy your day. thanks

  • heather

We got some much needed rain here last night and it is nice and warm in the house. Love me some rain! Gotta make a trip to the deli this morning and also the post office.

  • Cathy L

12 degrees this morning and it felt even colder than that. We get maybe two weeks of that kind of weather during the winter. We aren’t used to it. It is miserable. But, thank God we have heat and a warm home, that is what matters.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Finally got some grocery shopping done. Stocked up on canned soups etc. in case of power cuts & bought Harriet, the happy free-range hen who shall be revered on Christmas Day.

  • l p

the day is going well. testing out the cold method for making some of the bread today. it allows for more ‘free’ time. there are only 10 more days to Christmas and my ‘to-do’ list suddenly got more challenging. I’m very grateful to be able to flex the errands and neccesities. must go – phone’s ringing. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

Had a lovely time at the ballet yesterday…as many times as i have seen The Nutcracker I still love it every perfomance.
Still have menu planning to do for Saturday night – 2 more people are coming so my count goes up! lol…
making a grocery list for delivery tomorrow and a wine order…
Very grateful that i can do this..grateful for my life…

  • heather

I am doing laundry today and hauling wood nothing too exciting. I did my Costco shopping yesterday and that was like a trip to Crazy Land! I am thinking that I want to make fudge this week so I need to make a list and get all the ingredients. Later this evening I am going to finish watching the new movie The Conjuring Last Rites.

  • l p

the day is going well. enjoyed dinner with friends last night. cleaned the kitchen up for tomorrow’s bread-baking. it’s close to the solstice so the days are still quite dark. I’m looking forward to the days getting longer. why does it seem to take longer for the sun to come back than it does going away? mysteries of the universe, I guess. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Kate Sarsfield

Don’t want to tempt fate, but, apart from the fact that the cats kept me awake till 5am (and brought ‘presents’ home), I feel better! Managed to get some chores done incuding clearing the fridge. Broke my heart throwing out food but well past expiry date. Got an hour of fresh air as well. Pooped now so changing bedding will have to wait.

  • heather

I need to make a trip to Costco but I might do that tomorrow still can’t decide. I need to get my Christmas cards ready so I can mail them out tomorrow – yes I am the one person left who still sends ‘old school’ Christmas cards and I will until the day I go home.

  • Tamra Phelps

I made the first batch of Christmas candy today (peanut butter fudge), came out perfect–then decideed to do the chocolate fudge–yikes what a colossal failure, lol. I have never had fudge fail in such a spectacular way!! And I have no idea why. Made it the same as always but it seemed like the stove burner suddenly got extremely hot and stayed that way and it started boiling like mad. By the time I managed to get it off the burner, it was already hardening!! In seconds!! I scraped it out quickly and it was as hard as a hockey puck in a minute!. I mean you could concuss someone with that ball of fudge! Oh well, another batch will be made, lol.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Listless is the one word to describe me today. I haven’t managed anything other than a quick drive to a gas station to buy much-needed toilet rolls! Still drinking water & yesterday’s food stayed down so a bit more of the same today. The much-need vacuum cleaner is still in it’s box!

  • l p

the day is going well. the sunshine helps with cleaning here – shows up every fingerprint etc. meeting friends for dinner tonight. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

All comfy and warm in my chair doing emails and catching up – nothing to do today at all…all my lessons done yesterday and ordering Chinese food today as a treat..
Planning the appetizers for the get together on the 20th and making a shopping list.
Tickets have become available for Rod Stewart here in MN 2026 Sept.. have to buy them today!
    Happy Saturday ….

  • heather

I am staying home today and getting stuff done around here. I have been running around all week and need a break. Baking some cornbread for breakfast in a little while been craving it.

  • Kate Sarsfield

So far I’ve managed to keep a small meal down & managed to get the car battery charged and went for a drive with the windows down! The fresh air was lovely. Hope to get up properly tomorrow, have a decent wash & do a bit of grocery shopping. If I have the strength I’ll try out my new vacuum cleaner and scrub the toilet (yuck).

    • Tamra Phelps

Glad you’re a little better! Where did you eat on your day of shopping in Northern Ireland? Could it be a dose of food poisoning? Or maybe you caught a stomach bug while shopping? Honestly, I am so leery of catching anything these days, even a cold, that I still put on a mask when I have to take the bus for an appointment– I mean those drivers have to get right up on you when they fasten the wheelchair in place, and they probably pick up sick people for doctors appointments all day.

      • Kate Sarsfield

I took my breakfast with me & munched it before I started shopping so I wouldn’t be too tempted! I did use a dodgy public toilet but touched nothing, but you never know.

  • Cathy L

Tonight is pizza night at our house, like every Friday night. In a little while I will make the dough and get it rising so it will be ready for this evening.

  • l p

the day is going well. finally hearing some lovely Christmas music on my favourite radio stations. it’s been a busy day so far. made chicken soup and they are in their portion containers outside – friend calls them soupsicles. enjoy your day. thanks

  • heather

Happy Friday! I am still waking up and getting the house warmed up at the moment still dark out here. I am listening to the Bob and Tom Show on the radio.

  • KL Peters

The weather has been pretty miserable here so I stayed home and did some cleaning. I needed a reason to stay home so I guess I thank Mother Nature.

  • Tamra Phelps

Watching that Disney Christmas Carol, the sort of dark one, animated but not cartoony, not the one with Mickey and Minnie, lol.

  • Kate Sarsfield

I am still abed (sorry listening to too much Jane Austin on th BBC!). Managed to have something to eat just now so fingers crossed it stays down. I need a shower & change of bedding but will have to wait till I feel stronger.

  • l p

the day is going well. another bright sunshine morning so it was easier to convince myself to get out and do those errands. it’s nice to be home for the rest of the day. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

Snowy cold day.. what else is new? lol nothing to do today today around the house so i can do my studies ( funny for someone my age) and cook – going out this evening for cocktails with a friend…

  • heather

I am planning on getting work done around the house today and doing some cooking and maybe baking. I have been craving homemade cornbread so I may make that today. I also would like to check out the mood light that you purchased that is so cool and would make the perfect gift this year because it is so unusual.

  • Michele Soyer

So where are you Kate? Miss you.
Tamra relax and enjoy the warmth of your home! I am so grateful I don’t have to shovel here..lol
So today is a study day with my lessons all lined up…
First i do have to cook ….

  • heather

I am going to town today and doing some running around. I plan on hitting my favorite deli pretty hard. Tonight I would like to finish watching the new Downton Abbey movie I think I am half way through it.

  • Cathy L

Trying to stay warm today. I let the stray cat in and he’s sleeping on a blanket on one of our couches (after I fed him). I am pretty sure he thinks this is a hotel, lol.

  • Tamra Phelps

It’s not even officially Winter yet and they are calling for more snow here in KY. Ugh. Well, at least there is nowhere I absolutely have to be, so I can stay inside where it’s warm.

  • heather

I have to make a fast trip to the store today but other than that just working around the house today. Reading my emails at the moment and there is way too much junk emails that’s for sure.

  • Michele Soyer

Still waiting for the snow..lol….grocery delivery coming soon and thats as far outside as i am going…baking today…

  • Tamra Phelps

Today has been a pain in the neck, literally, lol. Pinched nerve acted up today. Ah well, hopefully tomorrow will be better.

  • Michele Soyer

Well glad I went out shopping on Saturday a snowstorm is coming our way and if you believe the weather experts it will be challenging….I do miss my long walks but not in this cold..
Laundry done, linens changed and dusting and vacuuming done so the day is mine!! Music is playing and my painting and book is waiting for me… new art history lessons await also…

  • l p

the day is going well. spent the morning volunteering and then met friends for tea. doing some much-needed vaccuming and tidying. enjoy your day. thanks

  • heather

I have no plans today and I’m not making any. I am so relaxing today and holding down the couch as much as I possibly can oh and eating treats all day. I am spent this week and need to rest. Have a blessed Sunday.

  • Kate Sarsfield

Um, hello … what day is it? i made it to Eniskillen in 3 hrs ( Google said 1 hr 48 mins), Bought a new vacuum cleaner, popped next door & bought CHOCOLATE, then onto the supermarket, where I filled my trolley with cat food & booze. The weather was atrocious, wild wind & rain. On the way back I managed to get lost seven times! Met some lovely people (the last guy who helped me on my way, well, ladies, I’d have willingly bent over backwards for). Eventually got home as it was getting dark, fed the cats & self, lit a fire, had a largish scotch & fell asleep. Happy day! Saw Ben Bulbin for the 1st time, waterfalls, lakes & valleys carved out during the last ice age – wonderful!

  • l p

the day is going well. busy day yesterday so now I’m cleaning so everything is set for the start of the week. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Michele Soyer

Had a lovely time last night and decided i would do the same gathering for Christmas – a few days before in the evening – appetizers, cocktails and small desserts tray..
Today I am off with a gal pal to the shoppes and to see the decorations in the malls…

  • heather

I am so staying home today need to rest been running around all week. I do have to haul some firewood though and that is the opposite of fun!

  • Tamra Phelps

Pinched nerve in my neck is driving me bonkers. And sciatic nerve pain going down my legs is acting up–oh, joy. What the he** is going on??? Why both all at once. Ugh. Hopefully it starts to calm down.

  • l p

the day is going well. did some volunteering this morning and then baking this afternoon. nothing is scheduled for later this evening, which is a relief. big day tomorrow so will be heading to bed sooner than usual. enjoy your day. thanks

  • Kate Sarsfield

    Tamra? Are you here?

Made it to Northern Ireland & back … extremely tired … fed the cats & self and now settling down to some BBC Radio 4Extra … more detail tomorrow …

  • Michele Soyer

Everything organized for todays small get together – happy to be able to share my day with new friends…Looking back I have spent the past 3 birthdays in 3 different places…the Caribbean, Texas and now here in Mn…this is it for at least 2 years then who knows???
    Happy Friday all…

  • Cathy L

Very cold and wet this morning. They were calling for a wintry mix overnight with snow this morning, we didn’t get either.

  • heather

Well there was a big mix up with my booze order this morning and it took from 9 -11am to get it sorted – the store used uber eats instead of in- store delivery people today and it was just a mess.. anyway with 3 phone calls to the store it finally was rectified…having a small party tomorrow and wanted an early delivery to get everything set up…appetizer recipes on hand and small desserts organized…I am now ready..
Lunch made and until then my feet are up with the cats joining me to read listen to music and relax…

2 hours? Bloody Hell! I’d have cancelled/walked out/started moaning out loud/gone back to bed to try again later/stuck with it, depending on whichever mood I woke up with! Fair play, as we say over here. Hope you have a lovely party!

I’ve had a lovely day today! I’m off to Enniskillen in N. Ireland first thing in the morning so I’ve had a day of list-making!!! Oh, the joy!!! I’m sorted, the car’s (fingers crossed) is sorted, breakfast ready to take with me, my map (no GPS or smartphone) and my shopping list. It’s mostly catfood & some bottles of booze, enough to last well into the New Year, though I’m sure I’ll be tempted by some goodies. Oh, and a new vacuum cleaner. I should be home before it gets dark. Wish me luck!

Very cold this morning. Supposed to get snow overnight – it reallllly disrupts things (roads) so I hope we don’t get any snow or ice tonight.

OWWWW!!! I’ve done something to my back. Right between the shoulder blades. I’d love a long soak in a bath or a hot shower but will settle for a hottle bottle and a lie-down.

I’ve been busy all day but when I look around I can’t see much difference! Lots of little jobs that needed doing. Went into the library & started printing off shopping vouchers from my online surveys. I’ll have about €400 altogether! Happy Christmas to me!!!!

I had some groceries delivered tonight because it is supposed to snow tonight. Just about 3 inches, and people ought to know it will be gone in a day, lol. But nope. They clear the shelves. So, I jumped on the bandwagon–out of fear of everything being gone!

A new month – where did this whole year go? Staying put until the 7th when we go to see the Dakota Valley Symphony Christmas program… looking forward to that.
Sitting here looking at the blanket of snow and the rabbits eating the food I just put out for them – they know where to come every day…all my chores are done for the day and no need to cook plenty of leftovers..a martini and my book until lunch…

Cripes! December already? Pricing vacuum cleaners online. It’s been a couple of weeks since mine died & with 4 cats in the house, well, you can imagine the hairs etc. Prices in Northern Ireland are a lot less than here in the Republic and, since I’m less than a 2-hr drive away, I’m seriously thinking of a shopping spree before Christmas. Lots of people regularly do this and it’s certainly makes sense, even with travel costs, exchange rates etc. Just one example: the cat’s regular cat food is 23 euro for 40 pouches down here. In the North, it’s under 20 for 80 pouches! Human food is the same price, but toiletries, over the counter meds, alcohol & cigarettes much, much cheaper.

Happy December 1st!!!!!!!! I just changed the month on the wall calendar and it was a weird feeling. Yes, I still use a monthly wall calendar I am ‘old school’ still put pictures in frames too. I sure wish I could come to your craft fair that sounds like so much fun and I would love to see your booth. Have a nice day out there.
