This week I learned about Light Metering and Flash also the Review Chapter from EasyPhotoClass. Light Metering. WOW did I ever need this chapter and once again I found a button on my camera that I didn’t know what it was for. Do you have this button? Do you know what it’s for?? Light Metering opens up a whole new way to shoot photos for me!! No more photo’s that are too dark or all washed out. I’ve also learned the importance of a gray card!! It’s next on the list of ‘must haves’ for my camera!! I can’t believe the difference a gray card can make!! Now you can get an expensive light meter for a couple of hundred dollars or a $20-$30 gray card…. guess which one I’m opting for?? Okay, I have to share some of my ‘homework’ pictures. I didn’t change the lighting in the room. I didn’t move from my seat. I only adjusted my camera settings with this week’s lessons.
I am really learning so much with this class! I have to say I love the fact that I am learning on my schedule. My pace. My LIFE!! I also love the fact that I can review any part of the class just by turning on my computer. I’m Refreshing My Blog (and Exorcising Some Digital Ghosts)
Updating old blog content is like digital archaeology—except I’ve unearthed a full-on resident spirit: The Ghost of Peanut Butter and Whine. This digital poltergeist has been causing absolute chaos behind the scenes. If things look a little haunted around here, here is the proof:
The Vanishing Act: The ghost keeps deleting my best images and video tutorials, leaving behind sad, empty boxes.
The Link Graveyard: It’s been sneakily stripping away my trusted brand partners and replacing them with sketchy “AI Crypto” links.
Font Sabotage: Apparently trapped in 2001, it keeps reverting my clean layout back to “Geocities-era” antique fonts.

To banish these spirits and keep my traffic climbing, I’m launching a step-by-step exorcism plan:
Exorcise the 404s: Running a broken link checker to track down every dead end and missing image.
Modernize Recommendations: Swapping out outdated products for my absolute 2026 essentials.
SEO Deep Clean: Refreshing metadata and strategically placing focus keywords.

I’ve been wanting to take some classes, but never have gotten around to it, so the photo class offered in another of your postings would be perfect for me. Thanks.
