Saturn™3i 95 Laminator Review #shopletreviews

If you are a regular here you know that I am dipping my toe into homeschooling with 4-year-old Alice. She’s a smart cookie! She is great at her sight words, there are several books she reads front to back with no problem. She can write her name, and if you spell out the hard words she can write them as well. HOWEVER, she writes really large; so I’ve been printing out pages of words for her to trace in order to get the hang of writing smaller. I’m jumping up and down excited about my new Fellowes Saturn 3i 95 Laminator. I now print ONE sheet, laminate it and Alice can trace the letters with a highlighter or marker.

The Saturn 3i 95 Laminator arrives well packaged. Taking the laminator from the box the first thing I noticed is it feels substantial. This is not a flimsy piece of machinery. This is very well-built, it doesn’t move around on the counter or table.

I couldn’t wait to start my first project!!

The laminator is so amazingly quick to learn! Seriously there is no learning curve. With the rapid 1-minute warm-up with InstaHeat Technology I was ready to laminate my first project within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box! Once I placed my paper into the laminating sheet and set it along the guide on the lip of the machine the Saturn took over, no coaxing, no pushing just a smooth effortless operation.

I’m like a laminating queen now!!

THINGS I LOVE

The entry is 9½” entry slot means I can laminate several different document sizes.  I can hot laminate 3-mil to 5-mil thick and for the pouches that are self-adhesive pouches there is a cold setting. Fellowes has truly thought of everything!!  When the machine is ready to laminate the green light comes on and the machine emits an audible beep. SEE?? SO easy to use!

There is a release lever on the back of the machine and the on/off button as well. Use the release lever to disengage your laminating pouch if you need to re-centering or remove it.

I love that the machine has an auto shutoff which not only prevents the machine from overheating but also saves energy.

Fellowes even included a starter package of 9″ x 11½” laminating pouches with the machine I truly had my first project done in 5 minutes of opening the box. THAT’s SO COOL!!

Not a single one!! Once again Shoplet is a one stop shop for office supplies. Seriously easy to use. No muss, no fuss easy! This is a homeschooling MUST HAVE!! I laminate Alice’s practice writing sheets, flash cards and art projects. Imagine how adorable our holiday place-mats will be with kid art!! I am having SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
