I’ve always been a manual toothbrush girl. Don’t know why. Electric toothbrushes are everywhere. So when I was offered the Srxing Newstart Ipx7 Smart Clean Sonic Electric Toothbrush I thought it was time to give an electric toothbrush a try.
Starting with the packaging. The toothbrush arrives in a sturdy blue and white box. All of the pieces are firmly nestled in dense foam cut outs.
The toothbrush comes with two brush heads which is nice. Either a spare for me or one for The Husband. I believe these are standard heads that can easily be replaced when it’s time. The brush heads have longer bristles on the top and bottom of the brush so you are really getting in between teeth as you brush. The bristles feel like the bristles on a soft toothbrush.
The base of the toothbrush is slim and fits easily in my hand. There is only one button on the toothbrush. Push once for regular brushing, twice for relief and three times for massage. All in ONE toothbrush. (Seriously, why haven’t I tried an electronic toothbrush before??) Each mode stays on for a full 2 minutes. An ever so slight pause at the 30 second mark, I use that as 30 seconds for each quadrant of teeth. That way I am for certain getting 1 minute on my upper teeth and one minute on my lower teeth. That might be my favorite feature, because I also recognize that I have NOT been brushing for a full 2 minutes. (Again, why haven’t I tried this before??)
Last is the charger, the brush charges wirelessly on the included concave base. The cord and plug also arrives with the brush, along with an opaque water-glass. I admit I was a little confused by the base. The charger is concave, the brush is flat; how will that stay upright and charge? Then as I was taking pictures of everything I noticed the bottom of the glass is formed to FIT the charger. BRILLIANT!!! It’s also an excellent space-saver! Stand the brush inside the cup to charge. Brilliant!
I am very pleased! So, no whines from me. The Srxing Newstart Ipx7 is a powerful sonic toothbrush, my teeth feel cleaner than ever before!! (Again I ask myself, why didn’t I try this before?)
