SuppressMint Review

So what would you say if I told you there was a breath mint that suppressed your appetite?! Sound odd? I thought so too! So I couldn’t wait for my Suppressmint to arrive.

My first thought was will it have the after taste of a vitamin or medicine? I’m thrilled to report that it doesn’t. There is no medicine taste! Just fresh breath AND bonus your appetite will be under control for up to 3 hours. mint

So, what is a Suppressment?  It’s a small white mint that is super easy to use. I found taking a drink of water first helps me to ‘set’ the mint. You want to moisten the mint first either with water or saliva, then find a place between your cheek and gum to stick the Suppressmint. The mint will STICK to your gum/cheek area. I was skeptical that it would actually stay where I put it, but it does! For the FULL 2 to 3 HOURS!!!  The mint dissolves slowly  where you place it and truly dissolves slowly. It took me a few days to get the placement right. The first few times I could feel the mint, now I put the mint just under my bottom canine tooth.  I don’t even know it’s there except that my breath is fresh!! I truly love the taste of these little mints.

So, not only does SuppressMint suppress my appetite for up to 3 hours, but it freshens my breath at the same time! How cool is that?!?!

SuppressMint® is a dot-sized, long-lasting (3-hour) slow-dissolve time-release peppermint-flavored micro-tab that is fortified with the proven dietary supplement and appetite suppressant Chromax® (chromium picolinate).

MintSuppressMint uses an all-natural appetite suppressant called chromium picolinate.  Chromium picolinate works together with insulin, produced by the pancreas, to metabolize carbohydrates.  It has been used in alternative medicine as an aid to controlling blood sugar in people with diabetes or pre-diabetes, to help lower cholesterol, and as a weight-loss supplement.

Did you know that peppermint extract works directly on your brain’s appetite control center to help reduce cravings?

Chromium picolinate, the active ingredient in SuppressMint is a safe, proven and highly effective mineral with 20 years of research behind it. It helps reduce cravings for foods high in sugar and fat (refined carbohydrates and saturated fats) while it helps stabilize blood sugar (glucose levels) and calm anxiety and stabilize emotions.

Did you know that chromium picolinate also helps sooth cravings by interacting with the brain’s “appestat,” reduces blood sugar levels so you burn more fat for energy instead of sugar and enhances positive mood states.

So, did SuppressMint work for me? YES!! Big time yes!!  DH just offered me Fritos. (The BEST snack food in the world) and because I had a SuppressMint in my mouth I passed! DH even asked if I was feeling okay!! These little mints are perfect for knocking down my cravings! I’m also not seeking out sugar and candy because the mint has a sweet taste to it that really satisfy’s my sweet tooth.

I use one tiny dot in the morning and I’m good to go all day.

This sounds really interesting. I already knew about the role of chromium in blood sugar management but the fact that this little pill lasts that long would be enough to keep me happy!

It sounds interesting. I am diabetic, so I guess I would first make sure it wouldn’t interfere with my meds, but I definitely need to drop some weight!
