This traveling Non, is at it again. I’m so excited I have been packing for a month already.

Remember Last Years Amaaazing Travel Destination?

Remember last year? Alice invited me to go on her 8th-Grade Class-Trip to New York, Boston, and Washington DC! (Okay, once again, MY 8th-grade class trip we took a bus from Rush Colorado to Colorado Springs 41 miles, for a MOVIE!) Now kids take a plane? Across the country?!?!

The Point Of This Post

Granddaughter Olivia played the ” You went with Alice to Washington, Boston and New York” card with an invitation to watch her Cheer-Team finals. A 5 day event. (Ohhhh, poor me, it’s in HAWAII!!) Uhhh, THAT was a no-brainer! OF course, sweet child, of course! OF COURSE! She TRULY didn’t even have to start with the Alice guilt! I would absolutely have packed my suitcase. (Yeah, Cheer-Team finals… yeah… that’s mostly the reason)

Packing Time

Ahhh, maybe just a tad too early. BUT! The way my brain works, if I don’t write it down I WILL FORGET! How about you? Are you an organized packer? Or are you a list maker?

First, AND Foremost

I am an over packer. 25 pair of underwear for a 5 day trip? Yes. HAVE I EVER, in my 67 years, EVER changed underwear 5 times in one day? No I have not.

A pair of shoes a day. Packed. HOWEVER, I almost, always end out wearing the same shoes the entire vacation.

I am trying to get better. Honest I am.

My Current Packing List For A Carry On SUITCASE ONLY!

*The MOST Important item! My LoexAir Travel Pillow!

Spokane to Hawaii is an 8 HOUR flight. I would not even TRY it without my travel pillow. I think I have to write a little more about this pillow, instead of just a FLY BY mention. (MAN! I think I am FUNNY!!)

With all the flying I’ve been doing lately, I have purchased so MANY, LIKE LOTS, TONS even, so MANY different pillows. Ones you blow up, furry ones, soft ones, skinny ones, even ones with filled with …… (sorry….. All of a sudden I was singing the Armour hot dog song. If you didn’t, well you aren’t old enough. So here… and you are welcome) This song has lived free in my head for far too long.

WOW, when I take a detour………… back to my NEW travel pillow. Made of memory foam, soft cotton fabric that you just want to nuzzle into. AND IT’S HOODED!! Why am I excited by the hood? Because it blocks light. WHO else absolutely hates all the red and blue lights, clocks, your seatmates watch or worse his phone?!? My travel pillow gives me maximum privacy. This travel pillow blocks ALL THE LIGHT!! Added bonus, this travel pillow comes with eye mask, ear plugs, and a carry case. Bigger bonus? It folds up so small! 6″ high 6″ wide. WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!

*My VERY FAVORITE travel pillow. Did I mention that it’s the same exact color of my wrap? It is. I’m FANCY!
*My favorite soft wrap in soft gray color. Airplanes are always cold.
*Swimsuit
*Cover-Up
*Flip Flops
*Sunscreen
*Big movie star sunglasses
*face towels
*make-up which consists of blush and lip gloss. DONE! (Anything more would just melt off)
*book
*linen pants
*skirt
*4 shirts
*10 pair underwear? It’s better than 25… FINE. 8. BUT I refuse to go lower.

What’s NOT On The Packing List?

*Laptop
*No big purse. A small cross body bag is it.
*No high heels
