The wrap up REVIEW of the Kia Soul 2013!!

Kia Soul 1
A few final thoughts about the Kia Soul.

Storage, the 2013 Kia Soul has tons!!  I swear the glove box is the largest I’ve ever had in a car.  2 tiers worth of storage!

Kia Soul 2

The back has more than enough room for all the stuff I lug around and more.  I love the net! It keeps the little things from rattling around the back of the car.
I especially love the under the back mat storage. It’s PERFECT!!! It keeps stuff cold or hot. It also handy size wise, so that, again stuff isn’t rolling around the back of the car.
There is even a net behind the seats for the kids stuff or just extra Mom stuff.

Kia Soul 2013I love the sun roof!!  It makes the car feel even bigger.  Actually, for a little car, it’s designed to feel like a BIG car.  The head room is amazing!  My 6′ son-in-law, Ray had no problem sitting in the backseat comfortably.

The picture on the right?  That clip keeps the backseat seat belt from being lost…… you know, when you have to dig around for the seatbelt?  This little clip is a great perk!!

My Kia Soul was picked up today and some of the things I’ll miss the most:
(In no particular order)
The great gas mileage.
The amazing back up camera.
The driver seat (unlike my daughter, I prefer a firmer seat, with back support.  Loved the lumbar support the Kia has)
Amazing sound system.
The under the rear mat storage.
Color changing stereo speakers.
The cargo netting.
The smooth ride.
The touch screen GPS.
Side mirrors that fold in
The KEYS!!

Loved zippin’ around town in that beautiful RED.
The sound system is amazing.  More speakers than I ever thought possible in a car without going to a sound shop to have more installed.

Truly, this was a fun review!  I loved zippin’ around town in that beautiful bright RED Kia. I truly  enjoyed every moment behind the wheel.  I highly recommend heading over to get a quote and schedule a test drive. Why not let the dealers fight for your business??  All in one spot? Request your quote today!! See?? I took care of everything!  I’m a blogging keeper!  HONEST!!!

More of my thoughts on the 2013 Kia Soul:

Disclosure I received The Kia Soul for a week to test drive for the purpose of my review. No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way. (even though they aren’t letting me keep it!)

Yes! The 2014 Kia Sorento is designed to keep y’all safe..,because with greater power, comes greater responsibilities they say. The 2014 Sorento, while being powerful also assures safety. Watch out http://www.kia.ca for more to come.

The KIA Soul is the biggest little car ever. It has an amazing amount of interior space. 5 adults can ride comfortably. With the back seats folded an unbelievable amount of cargo can fit inside. My Soul gets better gas mileage than I was told it would get. I live this car!

What a great review! I never would have considered a Kia but after this review, I will definitely be looking at one. Besides the great gas milage, I love the under the mat storage and the 2-tier glove box. I was surprised to see the side airbags – this car has a lot of safety features. I will not overlook a Kia again.

I was recently shopping for a new car and I really, really wanted this one but I ended up getting a Hyundai because it was less expensive. I still love this one though

My kids are in love with this car…I have the feeling if I got one, my 2 oldest would take it and only let me “visit” it once in awhile… 🙂

  • Laura Jacobson

Oh wow the Kia Soul looks really nice! I have a Kia Sedona van that I purchased in 2005 and have not had a single problem with it! I LOVE Kia…and will have to look at the Soul as I will probably look into trading in soon!

If you were a sale woman at the dealership you would have just sold me this car Great detailing the different parts of the car that would matter more to a woman such as the storage space. Great review of a cute car that I will be looking at in the near future!!

Loaded for $22,000 is a good price and I’m surprised at the room the Kia Soul has. I really need a new car but It has to be good on gas and this sounds like it’s not bad at all.

  • Caitlyn Hill

Oh my goodness, I love Kia Souls, I really want one. I feel like they look less “BOXY” than the other square like cars. TOO CUTE!

  • Krista Grandstaff

I never realized when I’ve seen those cars zipping around that they have that much storage and that many great features…crazy! I guess that will teach me to be a bit more open minded! (the old commercial with the hamsters always made me think it would be super small and “trim” on features…LOL)

  • Sylvia Ortiz

My 21 year old daughter is currently looking for a new car; and with all these safety features, gas mileage and the great low price, I am sure she will agree that the KIA may be the car she is looking for!! Thanks for the great reviews!!

  • Sandi Tzourellas

How lucky for you to get to do a review like this!!! I would have been kicking and screaming when I had to turn it in. Such a nice car, I love Kia’s anyway but this review reminds me of all the awesome things Kia gives and for a good price

This sounds like an amazing car. I loved all the room it has for a smaller car. I wish I could afford it because I would love to own one of these. I am so sorry you had to give it back. I bet it was so hard to see it go. Thanks for an honest and awesome review.

  • Maddie Klingaman

I love how honest your review of the car is. Though it has a lot of room, I just cannot seem to get over how boxy it looks. It’s not my favorite car in the world, but if it held more stuff than my current car I’d probably put aside my dislike of the boxiness of the car and give it a try. Thanks.

  • Sandra Davis

i love the net that keeps things from rolling around….i always have that problem……thanks for the great review….looks like a great car.

We have been a single car family for awhile. It just wasn’t in the budget or badly needed, but lately I am feeling the need to have a second car and I have been looking at the Kia’s I see on the road..They just look like fun vehicles! I LOVE that storage compartment in the back!

  • rebeka deleon

i love this vehicle. i need to find a new one soon so i can fit 3 carseats!! about to have my third child. i need something like this with more room

  • Susan Broughton

wow what a nice car! When we went on vacation in San Francisco we had a Kia to drive and we loved it too. It seemed like it didn’t take up any space on the road and really drove good, not to mention the gas miledge. We were able to put our luggage in without any problems. They have more storage than it looks like. Wish I still had mine to drive too!

  • Rachel M

Wow! I never really considered getting a Kia, but the Soul looks awesome! I love all the smart features like the door button!

  • Alana Vester

I would love to have one of these! But the only thing that I would HAVE to have is the giant hamster driving me around. LOL!

  • Baba

this looks like a really nice car, bet you wish you could have kept it permanantly! back up camera sounds useful and it looks nice and spacious

  • Diane K.Brimmer

Really enjoyed reading your reviews on the KIA. Sounds and looks like a real nice ride. Would love a new car, definitely would consider the KIA line of cars. Thank you for posting all about your review. =)

  • Becca S

You’ve seriously sold me this car…ever consider working for them directly? 🙂 It really sounds amazing and how fun that you got to keep it for a while and try it out! Though, I imagine that makes it even harder to give back!

    • Connie Gruning

Becca, It was hard to give it back. Running away with the keys didn’t phase them…. the kicking and screaming…. well that raised some eyebrows, apparently not a lot of adults act this way. LOL
It really was so fun to drive!!

Hi Connie, I am a regular visitor to your blog, we are planning on buying a car next April or May. I have to admit Kia was not on our list until now. We have read all the reviews and decided Kia goes on the list. Thanks again for all the info.
