Yes, the eyes are windows to the soul, however the eyebrows they sure have an awful lot to say without uttering a word!! They can make you laugh. The Rock’s signature look ALWAYS cracks me up. When Alice was only 2 I drew on her eyebrows then took her to Mommy’s work. Don’t think they are terribly important? What about Jennifer Aniston if she didn’t have eyebrows?? Yup, eyebrows are important.
I have never been obsessed with my eyebrows, I never really thought about them. I was born with a great shape of brow and not overly thick. AND THEN…… yup 50 hit and now at almost 58 my brows are getting very thin! WHAT!? Menopause, hot-flashes, weight gain, thinning hair and NOW this aging thing is taking away my eyebrows too?? Pfffttt.. So not fair.
I was thrilled to be accepted to try Kohl’s Universal Brow Pencil. When I applied, I thought it was odd that they didn’t ask what color I wanted. Turns out they didn’t have too because this truly is a universal color.
Having never used a brow pencil before I have gone slowly. I am not going for a Frida Kahlo de Rivera/Groucho Marx look. I want to be me only better!
Using short, quick strokes upward I was able to fill, spruce up, and give my eyebrows fullness and depth all while keeping the natural shape of my brows. After I use the color I go back with the spooly brush and distribute the color on the entire brow area. I wasn’t expecting to see a difference. However, filling in those sparse areas of your brows really does make a difference.

In the 4 years since I last commented, the white hairs are now white patches. They’re where a couple of old chicken pox scars are.
