My Life Set To Music!
From blasting your favorite tunes on the car radio (me!), to when you secure tickets for Morgan Wallen (or whoever your favorite artist may be), music is an important part of life. When you are sad, music can help make you happy. For me, when I turn on the 60’s station and sing along, I’m instantly in a better mood. Music can also help you get that good old-fashioned ‘ugly cry’. You know, sometimes you really need a good cleansing cry! Just in case you don’t know what The Ugly Cry is, well, it’s a cry so deep, so complete that you will be heaving and making awkward, gasping sounds. When the Ugly Cry is over your face will be RED, blotchy, puffy with two very swollen eyes!! But, you will feel SO MUCH BETTER. Okay, maybe that’s just me. There are tons of songs that stick out in my life. From growing up in a time where restaurants had the oldies style music jukebox where you could push E4 and listen to Elvis belt out Teddy Bear for just .25¢ Or even You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ by The Righteous Brothers. 3 Things That Every Kid Should Do During The Summer!!
There are 3 things that every kid should do during the summer. One: One has to be play in the water! It can be the beach, backyard or even on the patio and a big pan of water. 3 year old Alice loves the water! Alice takes a longer bath than anyone I’ve ever met!! She would live in the pool if she could! She is blessed to live less than a mile from the beach, if she had her way she’d be on the beach in a tent 24/7! Two: The second thing I think every kid should do is sleep outside under the stars! I love, LOVE, LOVE our yearly trip to Yosemite. Camping and sleeping outside is one of my the greatest joys!! Yosemite should be on everyone’s bucket list! We hike, we watch the sunrise and sunsets. Alice gets filthy! Well, actually all of us get filthy! Bulletproof Picasso!! Train’s Newest Album!!
I have very eclectic tastes in music. Someday’s only country music will do. Someday’s it must be fast, loud rock and roll. I am a HUGE fan of Train’s music! I love their music! Train is a three-time Grammy winning San Francisco band. Their newest album Bulletproof Picasso, is AMAZING!!! I’d expect nothing less from this great band!! This band has delivered 2 decades of fantastic music!! Do you remember “Hey Soul, Sister” or “Drops Of Jupiter” and “Calling All Angels”, or my favorite “Marry Me” then you’re going love Bulletproof Picasso, the newest album from Train! I can’t say enough great things about this album!! I can’t say enough great things about the band! Their sound reaches into my very core! I want to close my eyes and sway with every single note!! One of my favorite songs is Angel in Blue Jeans. LOVE this video with Danny Trejo and Hannah Simone. Of course Pat Monahan is HOT in this video too!! I could listen to his voice every day. ALL DAY!!
