Support The Arts!
If you’ve ever read Harriet Stephens’ profile, then you’ve probably been inspired by her philanthropic efforts to help out the arts and charities related to artistic pursuits. Helping to support the arts is one of the best things that you can do, both as a businessperson and as a citizen of your community. However, those who are new to contributing to the arts might not know how to get started. If you want to be a wonderful philanthropist and help young artists thrive, then follow these tips on how you can contribute to the arts. Give Financial Contributions The most obvious way to help any charity is by giving a monetary contribution. Not everyone can afford to donate as much as some of the most famous philanthropists. However, every little bit helps. Perhaps consider signing up to give a small donation each month on an ongoing basis. It won’t feel like a lot of money in the short term, but over time, you’ll really make a huge difference for a worthwhile artistic charity. Volunteer Your Time And Efforts Your time and effort is just as valuable as a cash gift. If you don’t really have the money to contribute, then…

FiveJoy 4 Person Pop-Up Camping Tent
I love camping in Yosemite with my family!! We go every May and we have a great week! (Well, after the ‘no-net’ withdrawals that is!) I am thrilled to add a new tent to our camping gear. Check this out! A 3 to 4-person camping tent that POPS up and ready to occupy in seconds!! Since the tent we have now takes an hour or more to put up; seconds is amazing!! I am giddy over this 4-Person Instant Pop-Up Camping Tent tent!! First it fits in a zippered pouch that lays flat. Completely flat! The tent is held together with elastic so that it doesn’t just pop up when you pull it out of the pouch. Inside the door is mosquito netting so you can actually have the doors open for fresh air! SWEET!! Windows on each side with roll up shades. There are tent stakes to keep your tent from blowing away!! Nice and roomy inside too! It’s Got Perks First there are double doors!! IN a POP UP TENT!!!! Not only are there doors in the front and back but there small areas before you actually get inside the tent to wipe off your feet or take off your…
Snack & Play Tray From Star Kids! #holidayroadtrips
Alice is loving her new Snack & Play Tray. First, the tray is large enough to go over the car-seat from arm to arm; so that’s a big bonus!! The surface is a white board; I can’t decide if I love the white board or hate it. Alice is giddy as all get out that she can draw and write on her tray IN the car!! I’m not crazy about the ink all over the kid. Now, with that said, y’all know Alice, she’d have ink on her no matter where we were writing! So that’s a draw I guess. There are net pockets on the sides which is awesome for water bottles, toys, pens and books. VERY handy, I really love the side pockets!! Another major perk is the fact that the tray is magnetic. This is an AWESOME perk!! Alice loves to play with magnetic letters and her magnetic paper dolls. So, between the lip around the tray and the magnetic surface we have a LOT less toys on the floor that I have to try to find as I drive!! The buckle is easy enough that Alice does it herself. The belt is long enough that I was able…
