The GP NextX F1 Trooper Drone Review
The GP NextX F1 Trooper Drone has to be one of my TOP 2015 Christmas picks. This is a fantastic entry-level to mid-level quadcopter. The Trooper Drone would be an amazing gift for older kids and adults alike. First, the F1 is sturdy. Trust me when I say this! Because neither The Husband or myself have ever operated a quadcopter so this little guy has been sent flying into beams, walls, buildings, the neighbor’s yard and trees!! The F1 still looks like new!! My favorite feature of the NextX F1? It has a CAMERA!!! A camera that will take still shots or VIDEO!! I’m amazed!! The quality, the camera, the extra blades and screws for an exceptional price! I’m seriously blown away!! Like I said before, we crashed the F1 A LOT!! So there is a bit of a learning curve to the quadcopter; however by day two The Husband was doing really great. ThorX Headphones Review
The ThorX headphones are great headphones in this price range and pretty much at least an additional price range upwards. Great value. I needed a nice set of over the ear headphones that I could use out and about without the hassle of dealing with headphone amps etc. I am happy to have come across these ThorX headphones. These have sounded great playing off my iPhone as well as my laptop, slightly better off the laptop. In addition to great sound I think they look very cool, a nice matte black with dark brushed aluminum headband, just a touch of chrome accent. Extremely well done in my opinion. I’m also a big fan of the nice flat cable that plugs into both your source and the headphones themselves, I have worn out and broken cables before, now I can just replace the cord if need be. Now looking cool and replaceable cables aren’t the important part of headphones. The sound!, the ThorX headphones sound really good. I did much of my testing with a flat eq and medium high volume. Adorable Pretend Vegetable Play Set! #pretendvegetableset
Wait till you see this set of adorable Pretend Vegetables from Click-n-Play. This isn’t your ordinary Pretend Veggie set! So, what makes this set so special you ask? First, they are large vegetables. The perfect size for little hands. This is a 12 piece set. A plastic knife that is thick, and not in the least bit sharp anywhere on the knife. From tip to handle it’s a smooth surface. There are 10 brightly colored vegetables. You have a lemon, bell pepper, carrot, eggplant, broccoli tomato, avocado, onion, lettuce and an ear of corn. The vegetable pieces are made of hollow hard plastic. Each vegetable has two piece and the pieces are held together by a small dot of Velcro. Kids can ‘cut’ the vegetables apart by sliding the knife through the center. It so stinkin’ cute!! Kids can pretend to slice these vegetables on the cutting board with the included knife. This will be the cutest addition to a play kitchen for any child. LEGOLAND California Tree Lighting 2015
This has to be one of my FAVORITE perks of being a blogger. Trips to LEGOLAND! First I have to gush about LEGOLAND as a whole. If you live in Southern California just get a yearly pass. JUST DO IT!! If you are visiting California put this on the column of MUST GO’s. I promise you kids of all ages will LOVE it here. There are rides for little kids and big kids. The rides are all included in the cost of getting in. In the summer the pool is PHENOMENAL DO NOT MISS IT!! The people at LEGOLAND are friendly. I mean, SMILING, HAPPY and PATIENT people. The employees interact with your kids!! For the little kids the employees actually get DOWN and TALK at their level!! The park is clean! The park is cleaner than my HOUSE! In the restrooms they even cater to the smaller kids with short sinks. I LOVE that!! I know I’m doing a lot of yelling but I want to be sure you know HOW COOL this place is!!
