It doesn’t matter if it’s 1915 or 2016 kids are fascinated by shadows! Written in 1915 by Robert Louis Stevenson this is a timeless classic!! It is as true today as it was in 1915. I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me . . . Not just a pretty poem; but a great learning poem as well. Where does your shadow come from? What causes you to have a shadow? Can you find a shadow outside? What about inside? Does everyone have a shadow? Does your dog? What about the vacuum cleaner? Y’all know me I love kids books. I love how excited 4-year-old Alice gets over a new book. I love how involved she gets with the story. After we finished reading My Shadow, Alice and I used different light sources to make shadows inside and outside too. We checked to see if everything had a shadow; from flowers to people too. Unique Heat Portable Space Heater Review #UniqueHeat
Several years ago we built on to our home, adding a Granny Flat for my Mom. It’s been awesome!! She has her own kitchen, bathroom and enclosed patio. We thought of everything….. Well, I thought we had. In hindsight we should have added her own heater. Tina’s Large Canvas Handbag Review
I didn’t expect to like this handbag as much as I do!! I really didn’t think that I would like the color as much as I do. I originally wanted the green but opted for the black and I’m totally pleased. The bag canvas reminds me of a broken in pair of faded jeans. The bag has great details like rust colored leather strips on the handles of this bag. The bag has handles galore. From 2 handles that allow you to just hold the bag. There are two straps that allow you to wear this purse over your shoulder. Also included is a detachable handle that allows you to wear this over the shoulder. The straps that are physically on the bag are sewn on very well. Sewn over the canvas, leather accent and in a square pattern and then in an X-pattern. The canvas handles are wide so they stay in place when I wear them on my shoulder. This is a great canvas handbag!!
