• I Took The Stirrings Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge!!!

Tis the season! Parties, get-togethers and girls-nights-out! I can’t think of a better way to kick off the night than with Stirrings All Natural Cocktail Mixers! Now, I have to start with I am not a bartender and I don’t even pretend to be! The most creative I get is buying a bottle of wine with a fancy label!  But, I have to admit Stirrings makes it easy to experiment! So many mixers! Even ones that are only 5 CALORIES!! I came across the Stirrings Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge and well, my competitive side came out! I can create something right?? And I DID!! Although very simple I’m still very pleased with the taste. I decided to name my mix Nonnie’s Apple Pie Ala Mode! I have to admit these are GOOD!!  SO GOOD!! So very, VERY GOOD!!! (did you get the idea these were good?) 2 shots of Simple Apple Martini 1 shot of marshmallow vodka 3 shots of sparkling mineral water Crushed ice Cosmopolitan Rimmer In a shallow dish I poured about a half a shot of marshmallow vodka to get the lip of the glass wet and then dipped it in the Cosmopolitan Rimmer. Welcome to my glamorous life. Recently, I decided it was time to “freshen things up.” You know, a light polish. A little dusting. Instead, I uncovered what I can only describe as The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. This sneaky little phantom floats through my blog at night deleting pictures like a Victorian librarian with a grudge. “Oh, you liked that step by…

  • ZenZoi Fabric Markers Review

By far the BEST Fabric Markers that I have used. The markers have a duo tips, a fine point and a chisel tip. The ink flows easy enough that a five-year-old can decorate a t-shirt with no problems.Being cautious the first use I put heavy duty cardboard between the front and back of the white t-shirt. I didn’t have to do that because the markers did NOT bleed through to the back of the t-shirt. I was so thrilled! The five-year-old designed a t-shirt with Thanksgiving on the back, a Beach scene with a lifeguard in swim fins and swim hands along with sand, water and a life guard chair. A flower garden scene. All without loosing any of the color! These markers are fantastic! This will create many more one of a kind masterpieces! The lids are on the markers very snug so I did have to help the artist remove lids. This is a great thing! First, the color doesn’t dry out and second the artist isn’t decorating other pieces of clothing! These are permeant. I am also pleased that the colors didn’t fade and didn’t wash off on my other clothing in the washer; especially since I accidently…
