• Make Learning More Fun

    Teach

Children learn in different ways and absorb information in diverse ways; no two are alike. When you make learning more fun, children tend to respond well for longer periods of time. We all retain information in different ways, which is why when we enroll in higher education classes, we have more control over how we record what we learn so that it meets our own needs. If you notice inappropriate behavior, it could just be the result of the children’s frustration with the lessons. It’s critical to enhance your working style while also assisting others. There are many distinct learning styles, including visual learners who absorb information better when exhibited and observed. Physical learners benefit greatly from being hands-on. Another great addition you can make to helping children learn is using gamification in K-12 classrooms. Games are much more than a relaxing recreational tool for individuals of all ages. • Blast from the Past! CDC Zombie Apocalypse preparedness 101!!

    Zombie Apocalypse

This Zombie Apocalypse post is from May 2011. It seems to go along with the whole theme of my blog being possessed. Maybe it isn’t a ghost or demon! MAYBE it’s ZOMBIES!! So, enjoy something that I STILL find funny! It’s better than my whole “testing, testing, testing theme I have going here. CDC offering: Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse. Everyone needs a Zombie plan!!! The concept of zombies, the CDC helpfully notes, has Haitian and New Orleans voodoo origins and refers to “a corpse mysteriously reanimated to serve the undead.” But even though science can’t answer that gnawing question “Why do zombies like to eat brains so much?” there is much that everyday Americans can do to prepare themselves in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse. “That’s right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e. You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency.” That’s from the author of this particular medical treatise. Clearly, CDC’s quite concerned about zombies as they’ve brought in the big guns here. In this case, Rear Admiral Ali S. Khan, MD, MPH, Assistant Surgeon General…
