Backseat Baby Mirror From Bable Review

Let me start off by saying that the Bable Rear Facing Mirror For Baby is a great mirror! My favorite feature is the fact that this mirror is a made of an acrylic and it’s a completely shatterproof mirror!! In the case of an accident no one will be hurt from flying glass or mirror shards. The mirror is light weight too! It’s passed all the crash test safety requirements as well. Next up the mirror is large!!  11.8″ by 7½” with a convex design for the 38% extra viewing area.

There are double straps to attach this mirror to your headrest; meaning the mirror is stable and doesn’t fall off!!

I love that it has a swivel on the actual mirror so you can adjust it to the height of your back seat and see your little one without the worry of it slipping down while you are driving. The other back seat baby mirror I had was only adjustable by a strap…which I was never perfect at adjusting correctly…so I eventually gave up and took it out of the car. I would look in my mirror to check on my little one…and either only see the top of her head (if I was lucky) or the ceiling. Ugh. The Bable mirror came nicely packaged in a box and had just 2 parts that needed to be assembled. I’m NOT good with assembling things together and I’m horrible at reading directions and actually following them. So for me to have to actually put something together made me a bit nervous.  Surprisingly it wasn’t too complicated!  I had it together in under 5 minutes (probably a record somewhere) and was able to rather easily put it in the car. I am able to see my little one chat away and sleep in her car seat while I’m driving down the road and it’s SO NICE! Now I don’t have to reach around the seat and crane my neck to make sure all is good.

WHINES

None!! The Bable Baby Mirror gives me such peace of mind knowing my child is snug as a bug tucked in her car seat and it sure makes our drives a lot more enjoyable. She also loves to be able to see me too, and so it keeps her much happier than when she was just staring at the back of a seat. I give this back seat baby mirror two thumbs up and highly recommend it to everyone!

I don’t have kids, so I’ve never used a rear-facing mirror that goes on the driver’s headrest. If it helps you monitor the baby, I say great! (I’m not clear on how the person in the front seat can see the rear facing mirror. Lol, obviously, I’ve never used one.)
