• Bright Starts Taggie Review

Baby Alice and I are HUGE fans of Bright Starts! Not only are their products affordably priced but they are wonderfully made! When Alice and I were offered the chance to review the new super soft, super cuddly Taggie blanket we couldn’t wait to get started!! First thing we did was inspect the Taggie from all sides! The taggie is softer than any baby blanket I’ve ever felt! (That’s saying a lot when you have a baby!!) The Taggie measures 12″ x 12″ (not including the taggies) So it’s perfect for little hands! It’s perfect to grab and throw in your bag or for Alice to hold in the carseat. The taggie is exceptionally well stitched all the way around. I’ve washed the blanket twice already and it’s still as soft as it was the day it arrived, with no loose seams anywhere! No loose taggies. The colors didn’t fade. The colors are perfect! Soft muted yellows, blues, purples, pinks and greens. The tags themselves…

  • Elfishki and the Giant Cake Review

Seriously, this review should be called FIGHT!! FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!! I kid you NOT no matter how many times Emma and Eli have played ‘Elfishki and the Giant Cake‘ there is a fight! EVERY SINGLE time!! THAT is a great interactive app for iPad!! (wait… wha???????? They fight and that’s a good app?? YES!! Emma and Eli can NOT get enough of this app!! Which means you could get some quiet time…. maybe. Both kids zero right in on ‘Elfishki and the Giant Cake’ app, trust me they have a LOT of apps to choose from on the iPad! But this one is the favorite! “Giant Cake” is an app that has both a game and a story inside. You choose to either read the story yourself, or have it read to you. The graphics are incredible. The game itself is our favorite part of the app. When you create a cake there is a camera icon that lets you capture the image. Once you have…

  • Are ya KIDDIN’ ME!??!!?

Woke up with a migraine. Had to cancel my date with my Grandson Eli. Noise BAD…. light BAD… Baby Alice was sooo great though she took a nice long nap with me….. no crying all day….. She was SUCH a GOOD girl…. so what does her Nonnie do in return?? Locked her in the car. Yup yup!! Had to get gas before I give Baby Alice back to her mom. So being THE greatest Nonnie EVER… I saw a shady looking grandmotherly looking woman standing on the sidewalk…… of course I believe she knows that the cutest 6 month old baby is in the backseat so I locked the door. (I know these things I watch CSI!!) I insert the nozzle and realize I haven’t pushed the button as I pass the door it ever so gently clicks with the frame of the car. #)#@&$*&^ )#$&(@^#^&^@ @)(&$&N(%&# 47#^ )%&@^!!!!! • "An Alphabet Trip to the Limerick Zoo" review

I was lucky enough to be able to review “An Alphabet Trip to the Limerick Zoo” This is a fun full color eBook. Since Emma and Eli are still pretty young, I opted to print the entire book. I was really pleased with the colors and the fun pictures. Emma and Eli both had a great time with the coloring pages. The limericks are great fun. The limericks are fun to read out loud. This is a great recourse not only teaching limericks, learning about different animals for instance do you know what a Quagga is? We didn’t. So then we bring out the dictionary!! Now we are learning about limericks, Quaagga’s and using the dictionary too!!
