Hello little Peanuts, I’m here with my monthly $50 Your Way Giveaway! Happy June little Peanuts 2022 is half over!?! Whaaaat!?! May was fairly boring up on the mountain. Worked in my garden. Added marigolds around my flowers. I read that deer don’t like them. Maybe I will get some flowers for inside the house this year. My fingers are crossed. I also added Bleeding Heart plants in my garden, because they are deer-resistant. 🦌 Keeping my fingers AND toes crossed for these. Isn’t it pretty?! I know I said on Instagram I was going to keep them indoors. Yeah by day 3 the hearts were a very light pastel pink. So, they denied that request. It’s still cold as all get out. A couple of snow days. YES, IN MAY!? Course, thankfully not as bad as you had it in Colorado! (Yup, Sarah, I thought about you when I saw that snow report) I am very excited about this month! I am headed to California (first to defrost!) to grab my Granddaughter Alice for our Non-Camp 2022. She will be 11 on the 1st, and on the 8th she graduates from grade school to middle school. Happy May Little Peanuts! Are you ready for May’s Giveaway? I am ready for some sunshine. Idaho can’t decide if it wants to snow, rain, or just be gloomy. So much so that it will do it all at the SAME TIME!! I am ready for some hiking and kayaking. April SUCKED April wasn’t exactly a great month for The Husband! First, a nasty MS attack that put him back in a wheelchair. then adding insult to injury The Husband was diagnosed with Wet Macular Degeneration which requires a SHOT IN THE EYE!! WITH a NEEDLE!! Of course, I filmed the whole thing and sent it to our kids. They both agreed that I should feel free to NEVER share that again. LIKE EVER. In very strong language. Geesh!! Try and be a great Mom and keep the kids updated with our lives and this is the thanks I GET!?!?! Kate, when you asked for a proof that George was alive and kicking on Instagram I ALMOST, almost posted that video. But, I figured that would be a tad traumatic for some followers. Hello, little Peanuts are you ready for Aprils Giveaway? This month’s update is rather boring. I actually had to scroll through pictures on my phone to think of what I did in March. I was thinking that we didn’t do a hell of a lot. AND THEN I REMEMBERED! Got the car stuck on the drive. The driveway was solid ice. I slid backward and truly thought we were going over the side down the mountain. After three of those tries, The Husband brought out the tractor. While he was adding the shovel to the tractor our tenant Patty pulled up behind my car. While we were chatting, her car started sliding backward all I could do was cover my eyes. THANKFULLY it hit a rut and stopped. Talk about STRESS! SERIOUSLY!! Two days later The Husbands truck ……… same thing. THANK HEAVENS for Ferdinand The Bull. (The Tractor) The weather has warmed up a little (high 40’s) so the snow started melting and flooded the garage which leaked to the craft-room and it flooded. WHAT A MESS. Snow Day Vacation was amazing, although we did learn that Alice is NOT a fan of surprises. Someone, not naming names (Alice) had a total meltdown at the airport. Not a fan of mystery airplane rides. WHO knew?? Wearing her Snow Day Shirt (we all three had matching, unfortunately, no one thought to get a group picture!) Alice in her NERD glass to trick Non. She cracks me UP! The weather was amazing for their trip. They left and ole Mother Nature had a total meltdown. Below zero temps. Wind. UGH!! Today we have rain and freezing temps. NOT good on top of the snow.
