• KettleBell My New Favorite Exercise!

Yesterday’s whine about dieting might as well continue on for today’s post. Along with dieting comes exercising, which again, makes me whine. Y’all know I am highly allergic to exercising in public. At home alone, so no one can see how uncoordinated I am, I don’t mind exercising (as much). I’m truly excited about this brilliant gadget called a 3-In-1 Kettlebell, by Empower Fitness. Brilliant I tell you, BRILLIANT!! This handy little KettleBell is designed for women. Designed to burn fat and sculpt muscles! Easily change the amount of weight you are exercising with. A simple click and twist. BRILLIANT!!! Click & Twist! Easily change your Kettlebell from a 3 pound, 8 pound to 12 pound workout! Push the clip down and twist to take off or add the weight plates.  So EASY!!!!! So convenient. So much fun!! (Wait…did I say that?? Exercise fun?? Yup! I did) Add more weight as you get more toned and need more resistance. Take it from me, the voice of experience, just because you think you can use the full weight first time out….. You really shouldn’t. Or…. be prepared to not use your arms the next day. OUCH!! A workout DVD comes with the…

  • Citrus Lane

Citrus Lane is one of the coolest kids idea out there!! If you aren’t familiar with Citrus Lane, it’s a box of goodies that arrives at your doorstep once a month. Filled with 4 to 5 HAND-selected products designed with your child in mind!! Imagine the excitement on your wee babe faces seeing that brown and yellow box arrive every month! Priceless!! One of the things I love the most about Citrus lane is the fact they have researched and worked with experts putting together items that your child would enjoy the most. This isn’t a box of random things. These are products that you child will love. Boxes are available for newborns up to 5 years old. I was THRILLED with the Citrus Lane box that arrived at my home. Emma and Eli were EVEN more thrilled! Alice was giddy!! Inside our box was a Puzzle box that is adorable and handy to keep all the pieces together.  All 3 kids from Emma 5, Eli 3 and Alice 2 had a blast putting the three different puzzles together. Next up, Annie’s Bunny Crackers, I had no idea that Annie’s made BUNNY crackers?? (wayyyyy better than those other guys and their fish!!)…

  • MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale

Diet! Diet! Diet! Seriously, I think I have spent at least half of my adult life on a diet. Use a kitchen scale to weigh your food. Exercise. Water. Sleep. Workout. WHY does being fit take so much WORK!!!! (Yes, I AM going to WHINE! Thank you very much!) Why isn’t there a magic pill?? Why can’t I use the shop vac for do-it-your-self liposuction? WHY?!?! Why doesn’t whining work like it did when I was a baby?? Okay, fine, this post isn’t going to be a whine fest for the entire thing…. I promise. Dieting is hard work. You have to be motivated. You have to be dedicated. Keeping a food journal is very helpful. Weighing myself daily, really helps me. Then there is the food measuring. Some people are good at measuring and guessing how much is a single serving. ME?? Container size equals serving size. I will (and do!) eat an entire container of Pringles, M&M’s, ice cream, whatever…. doesn’t matter. Which would explain, why I am on a DIET yet again!! Why A Kitchen Scale So, for me, having a good kitchen scale is IMPORTANT! I have to have a scale I can depend on. It…

  • Ozeri 100% PFOA Free Non Stick PAN!!

In the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing my review of the 10″ Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri, with a 100% PFOA-Free Non-Stick Coating developed in the USA! Yes, that means I am going to cook!!  I know… I know… I am shocked as well! I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I’m Refreshing My Blog (and Exorcising Some Digital Ghosts) Updating old blog content is a lot like digital archaeology. You head into the archives expecting to dust off a few old tutorials, and you end up unearthing questionable life choices from seven years ago. Between the aggressively over-filtered photos and advice that has aged like room-temperature milk, the past can be… loud. But lately, I haven’t just been fighting my own cringey archives. I’ve been dealing with a full-on resident spirit: The Ghost of Peanut Butter and Whine. This digital poltergeist has been causing absolute chaos behind the scenes, and frankly, its taste in content is terrible. If you’ve noticed things looking a little haunted around here, here is the proof:…
