When my daughter was little, I think being a single mom and not having her dad in her life was hard for me. With my mom’s help to raise her, I’m proud of the woman my daughter has grown up to be. Thank you 🙂

For me, the toughest part of being a Mom is learning to let go. When my oldest daughter moved out I was sick and depressed. So much so, that I stayed in bed for a week. It seems crazy when I write it here, but it was VERY DIFFICULT for me. I have three daughters and I guess it was a bit easier to swallow when the next two left home. It’s a real challenge to let them go, but still be there for them always. When they come for advice or help, it’s hard to not want to “fix” everything for them.
