I am sad to say this is not one of the days that made me happy. We have searched all over our farm for our momma cat and her six babies. Which were all spoken for and ready to go to their new homes. after about 4 days of looking we have discovered that the coyotes have gotten them. Sad day they were the cute kind you see on calendars. Too bad there isn’t a coyote season! Right now I would become an avid hunter.

What made me so happy today is I got to bring home the youngest of the Martz Chickies because she isn’t in school yet. We are having a blast and grandpa is in seventh heaven with his grand baby here. What made me happy today was, a woman that has her trailer on our property, (also works at the farmer’s market that we used to attend) brought us 6 half bushel of tomatoes and 6 cases of green peppers. I am still canning as we speak and will probably finish cutting up the green peppers tomorrow and freeze them. Hard work now but will be great this winter.
