• A to Z Follow up

What I learned from my first A to Z challenge. I will do it again!! I had a great time. I found my rhythm and had no writing problems, mostly, cause my theme was about ME! Next year I’ll challenge myself more, I just need to think of a theme.I found several blogs that I will keep visiting.I will continue to visit blogs I didn’t get to during the challenge until I go through them all!! I am determined!!My favorite posts were the shorter ones. 200 to 300 words per post. I really wanted to be able to visit a lot of blogs during the month.I loved learning about new books. New music. I have enough books on my Good Reads list to last till next year!I printed out enough recipes to make my husband happy!I even found some craft sites that I will keep checking on. You can never have enough crafts for the Grandbabies to do!!I found it hard to keep up with blogs that wrote a new chapter of there book, during the challenge. It’s hard to come in mid-book. It’s not a bad thing. Again, wanting to visit as many blogs as I could.  For me…

  • It’s time for some tomatoes!! Miracle-Gro Gardening!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Just because you live in a apartment doesn’t mean you can have plants and vegetables!! Right?  Right!!  My Granddaughter Alice and I thought we would start with a tomato plant. I figure you can’t go wrong with something she could see grow and actually eat. It didn’t take a lot of work and she could actually do most of it alone. The next project we are going to do is the  Toyrarium!!  You have to take a look! It’s super cute!! The Gro Project.   I took Alice to the store and let her pick out the supplies. Alice picked out a bright red pot, watering can, gloves and a shovel. NaNa picked out the soil!! Only Miracle Grow will do!! In particular Moisture Control Potting Mix, because it guards against over watering! (Alice is 2…. we LOVE watering our tomato plant!  A LOT!!).  Seriously, I am a firm believer in Miracle-Gro. It truly is the best soil out there.   I opened the soil mix and she shoveled in the dirt.  Yes, it took a very long time!!  But, Alice was having…

  • Sea Fare Pacific Tuna! Yum!! Give AWAY!!

Yum Sea Fare Pacific YUM YUMMMM!!!  I’ve tried tuna in a pouch before, I was not a fan.  Truly, Sea Fare Pacific has changed that. This is by far the best tuna I’ve ever eaten! EVER!! We are huge California roll and sushi fans in our house and I’ve been craving some! PERFECT timing! I received 2 packets of Sea Fare Pacific Albacore Tuna to review. The first packet we tried is Jalapeno Tuna . Ohhhhhhhh MAMA that’s good!!  You can even see the Jalapeno pieces!! The jalapeno is NOT over powering.  It’s not too spicy and it’s NOT hot!! The taste is amazing! Very fresh tasting. NOT oily. Just DELICIOUS!!   Doesn’t that look GOOD?!?!  Why is Sea Fare Pacific Tuna different? Because they are committed to working toward a sustainable future by providing families with high quality, naturally nutritious products from wild albacore tuna.  Using gluten free and non-GMO ingredients and line-caught tuna sourced solely from Pacific US sustainable fisheries, Sea Fare Pacific’s pouches are superior on every level. Here’s some info about why our albacore tuna is superior to other canned tuna found on most grocery shelves: Our young albacore tuna (3-5 years old) are line-caught off the Pacific West Coast. Multiple studies have shown that these fish have no mercury concerns. In…

  • Shmoozees Give AWAY!!

I couldn’t be more excited about this post if I tried!!! One of my all time favorite companies Jay @ Play are releasing a brand new plush item called Shmoozee!   Shmoozees are a brand new line of delightful plush items which have glowing ears and eyes.  The ears are perfect for storing several pairs of earrings, making your Shmoozee as fashionable as you!  The Shmoozees have holes in the ears and come with four earrings to add to Shmoozees ears. You can add your own earrings too. The earrings that are included have a little ball on the end so they stay in the ears. The can be moved around easily. Emma is 4 and had no problems. The eyes, ears and teeth glow in the dark. These two were so excited to run back and forth between the closet and the yard to check out the glowing Shmoozees. I’m not done!! There are games for the kids at www.iluvshmoozee.com, like a name generator for your Shmoozee and a link to  dress up your Shmoozee. It’s a fun site that the kids will love.  (BTW my Shmoozees name is Brody Pumpkin Boom. Quite a distinguished name huh?) That’s not the only reason…
