Skiva USBLink Extra Long Lightning Cable
![]()
10 FEET!! You read that right, this is a 10 foot long, solid and very durable lightning cable from SKIVA!!
Having 10 feet of cable means I can sit anywhere with my iPad even while it’s charging!!
That being said, I go through lightning cables quickly because the Grandkids are not the least bit gentle when they unplug NaNa’s iPad. The connector ends usually go first. I am so pleased to report that these connector ends are as stable and secure as they were straight out of the package. Neither ends show any wear or tear. I am thrilled at the durability!!
Another big bonus for me is that the connectors STAY plugged in!! These fit like the connector that arrived with my iPad Air 2. Again, I am thrilled at the quality.
My iPad Air 2 charges the same as it does with a shorter cable; I did not lose any speed because of the extra length.
My favorite use is streaming my movies from my iPad Air 2 to the TV from the COUCH!!! I LOVE this cable!!
This cable is Apple MFi Certified. The Slim Connector Head will work with iPhone 6, 6Plus, 5s, 5c, 5, iPad Air, Air 2, iPad Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3, iPad 4th gen, iPod touch 5th gen, and iPod nano 7th generation.

WHINES
Not a single one. I’ve been using my new Skiva charging cable for over 2 weeks without a single error message or problem. I’m thoroughly impressed with the excellent craftsmanship and quality.

Let’s Refresh This Really OLD Post Shall We?
Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.
What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.
I opened a five-year-old post and found:
- Half the images missing.
- Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
- A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.
Welcome to the glamorous life.
Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.
“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.
“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.
Now the tutorials read like this:
Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself
Extremely helpful. Gold star content.
And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:
Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.
Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.
So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”
It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.
I’m not spiraling.
I’m optimizing.
Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.
Completely normal.
