Homemakers Friend Daily Planner Review!
I have an awesome planner to share with you today. This is the Daily Planner from Homemakers Friend. It’s so awesome, I don’t even know where to start! First, it fits in my purse. Even my smaller cross-body bag! That’s rare. Wait, it’s ‘pretty’ should have been first! I love a pretty calendar. The paper is a light lavender color. The borders and titles are in a darker shade of lavender. Beautiful swirled fonts. There are rounded tabs for year, month, week, tasks, projects and events, information, and shopping lists!!! This is a Spiral bound planner that is 5.75″ x 8.75″ Starting with the first section Year. These are small boxes. 6 lines. For me, this is perfect for my year in review. I create a family calendar every year and as fast as our family is growing I’m forever forgetting to add a date! This will be a perfect tool for me, while I design 2015’s calendar. Next up is the monthly view. This is a 2 page spread, important holiday’s are written in for you. There is a note section that’s the length of the page. I LOVE A planner that has plenty of spots for notes! Next is…

HangerJack! Now That’s Convenient!
Let’s talk convenience. Do you ever have enough space in your laundry room to hang up your items straight from the dryer? Or is everything hung on a door knobs and cupboard doors now have permanent hanger marks? This cool little gadget is called a HangerJack. Installation is so easy you can do it during a commercial. More to love? There are step by step instructions on the HangerJack website. The HangerJack come in two pieces; the unit, and the hardware. One is that it would make an amazing drying rack for those dedicates that need to air dry. The best part is if you install one in your laundry room, you can easily fold it up, and it stores flush against the wall-no bulky permanent poles! Overall, I am so happy to have the opportunity to test out this product! This little gem can go into any room, from garage, laundry room or in your craft room! Which is where I have mine. I can hang sewing projects, ironing and things I need to steam. I can hang up to 50 pounds on the HangerJack. When it’s not in use simply fold it back onto the wall. No muss. No…

I Scored BIG at ScoreBig!! So Much FUN!!
Last week I told you about how easy it is to use ScoreBig to find tickets for, well, everything! Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, ScoreBig HAS ’em. Musical events? Theater? GOT ’em!! Sight seeing?? JACKPOT!!! I picked up tickets to Old Town Trolley Tour!! This was a fully narrated tour of San Diego. It was entertaining! Informative! FUN!!! We traveled from The Harbor to Coronado, from San Diego Zoo to Little Italy!! There are 11 stops in total on this tour that you can disembark and walk around, shop, eat and just explore! Catch the next trolley, stay on, get off…….. whatever YOU want to do. You don’t have to get off at all if you don’t want to! You can stay on the Trolley for the whole 2 hours if you want. We made a day of it. I learned things about San Diego I never knew!! Our guide Jack was amazing!! He’s had the job for 2 weeks. He knew more about San Diego than I do after 31 YEARS!!! Here are some interesting facts that I learned!! The world’s oldest, still working ship, the Star of India built in 1863 has her home port in San Diego. Each year over…
