Today was such a fun day!! I spent the day with my 5 year old, FIRST grader, granddaughter Emma. We went back to school shopping! HOLY MOLY, she may only be 5, but wow, she is tall!! AND picky!! The girl knows what style she likes, and there is no changing it!! On top of trying to find pants to fit that skinny little body, they have to be the right color, style and length. She’s FIVE!! We did great though! Finally found pants that fit. Found some adorable t-shirts. One pair of WILD crazy colored shoes, seriously, these shoes have every single color of the rainbow on them. Emma’s little eyes lit up when she spotted them!! It was love at first sight!! The shoes, I think, were Emma’s highlight of the shopping trip. Mine was a little one-on-one girl time!
