First Look At Ninjango At LEGOLAND California
Man-oh-man do I love being a LEGOLAND blogger!! On Thursday Alice and I were part of the first look at the new attraction at LEGOLAND California; the Ninjago ride! This is unlike any ride that I have ever been on! A controller free interactive ride. Controller free? Well, then how will you shoot and kill spiders (btw, shoot spiders! They are worth big points!) bad guys and snakes?? With the power that is in YOU, that’s how! Your hands are the controller. The ride ties in Legos Ninja franchise, Ninjago. From the maze of the line area to the ride itself, THIS is a fun experience!!! The walk to the ride itself is full of posters with brightly colored pictures of all the characters. You’ll be able to brush up on your characters and learn about their history. By the time you have finished reading one poster it’s time to move up in line. Very smart LEGOLAND very smart! This was very helpful to me since I had one very excited 4-year-old that I was trying to entertain. About the halfway mark in line is a corner with a Lego statue to pose with. Aretha Leather Handbag
I have a terrible handbag addiction. I want them ALL! This Aretha Bag is actually smaller than I normally gravitate toward, however, it easily fits my iPad, wallet, planner, and a ton of other miscellaneous items. AND still zips shut! This bag is a beautiful deep brown leather, with an off-white accent stitching all around the bag; along with gold hardware and an Aretha name plate. This is a double-handled bag. There is a zippered pocket on the front of the bag, which is deep; the pocket goes to the bottom of the bag. I find this pocket is perfect for my car keys! Inside this leather handbag, there are 2 side pockets on one side, perfect for my little camera and my phone. The opposite side of the bag has a nice, deep zippered pocket which is perfect for my lip gloss, Kleenex, wipes and such. There is a sectioned off area (made with the cloth that lines the bag) under the zipper, where I keep papers and such. Reusable Lunch Boxes! Fully Contained! With Utensils!
I’m a working mom with two kids who loves packing lunches for all of us. The problem with the old ziplock in the lunchbox technique is that the sandwiches always get smushed, organizing the space to make other containers and Tupperware fit is nearly impossible, and if you are using ziplocks…it’s so wasteful!
